  Close to Gross Morne National Park

  We chose this hotel as it was fairly close to Western Brook Pond. The front desk was very efficient bot not overly welcoming. Our room although fairly small was comfortable with a door opening onto a short balcony. Rainy and windy so we didn't use it. The restaurant served average food, lasagne the same as you could find anywhere else. Breakfast menu was the usual. Service fairly good. You don't pay the server, you take the bill to the front desk, so there is not much opportunity to include a tip, perhaps it is included in the total cost of the meal. It is steps away from the Wharehouse Theatre. You can also buy Gros Morne National Park passes which you need if you go on the boat tour

  Service was great here we stayed at cabin 27 for two nights the staff brought us a fire pit and picnic table as well as loaned us a pizza pan and cheese grater. I would recommend this place because of the service and its close to western pond boat tour.

  Visited the motel this weekend and I have to say Cow Head has to be my favourite place Ive visited. The staff here are amazing, So friendly and helpful . We had an ocean view room and the view was beautiful , Watching the sunset and the tide change. Our room was very clean and modern, and comfortable . The restaurant has really good food as well. My 4 year old keeps asking me when we can go back again. Definitely a five star rating from us . We enjoyed it so much that we are now planning to go back in a few weeks for another weekend .

  A must stay if you travel to Gros Morne

  This was a lovely stay. We arrived early and asked to check in. They accomodated us right away. The pool was open but you had to book a time and it was all booked up. The owner told us to come after hours and enjoy for an hour. My kids were so happy. We stayed in a two-bedroom cabin-lovely, clean, fully equipped. It was air conditioned which was a plus this week. We made use of the pool, hot tub and sauna.BBQs and fire pits available upon request. The management dis everything they could to be accomodating. I would recommend this spot to anyone-family, couples, girls/ boys trip, etc. Right on the beach, 2 minute walk to a store. Everything is close. Highly recommended.

  Great place to stay

  We rented a cabin while here. It was small but enough for the time we planned there. 2 double beds. Bathroom and kitchen are starting to show their wear and were small. Apt size fridge and stove which worked fine for us. Small living room area. Weather in the area was not good so we had to cut our stay short, would have liked to use the pool and go to the beach which is only a few mins away. The front desk staff were so kind and friendly I would recommend this place just for that honestly!
