  Great location but poor management

  I visited in December 2020 and stayed in a 2 BR condo on the 3rd floor with my wife and 2 boys. The 2 stars are mostly for the location (very close to Bachelor) but the bar/restaurant was also decent. Parking is also great. The problem started when we arrived. Check in was 4pm, we got there at 5pm. Room was not ready, said could be a few minutes or up to 2 hours but we would be put on the "high priority list". $28 in restaurant coupons were provided. We got food and wanted to eat on the patio but it was about 30[o] outside. There were many tables with adjacent tower style heaters none with propane. Ate in the car. Checked back at 7pm, said another hour. Checked back at 8, said another 30 min. Obviously no reliable information was being conveyed so we found a hotel for the night since we had young kids and a 4 hour drive to get there and were exhausted. Checked in the next day. Floor plan was good and unit appeared reasonably clean. Odd smell confused us until we realized someone in an adjacent unit must have been smoking weed. The stench came and went through the 3 days we stayed. One night the music from the unit below kept my kids awake, they slept in the living room. Kitchen was sparsely apportioned - no cleaning supplies, enough dish soap for one run, no wine bottle opener. The air vents totally filthy, allergies were on fire. Dog poop outside the unit. Several light bulbs burned out. We understand that circumstances related to COVID make certain management priorities difficult to achieve. But overall this was not acceptable and we are crossing this property off our list.

  Excellent location for Winter activities

  This is a great older resort next to winter and summer forest activities. It has been revamped by WorldMark and is quite comfortable. Of course all activities were closed because of C19 except for limited use of the ice rink. One niggling thing is that they have fireplaces in all units.BUT, if you want to use them they charge $8.00 for a single presto log....2 time more than they are for sale in town....my goodness. for the $100 additional fee they have for cleaning you would think that they could spring for a log which at wholesale is less than $2.00

  Solid ski area resort

  Older resort that has been nicely updated..While we were there the power went out for 8 hours...there were no alternatives..the restaurant was closed byC19.. My only complaint is that they have fireplaces..but no fuel..We were told that they burn Presto logs...and we could buy one for$8.00--or go to Safeway and buy for 4.50..etc...wholesale cost is under $2.00 SEEMS TO ME THAT AT LEAST ONE LOG COULD BE INCLUDED IN THE $100 PAID FOR CLEANING..///

  A great 2nd visit to the resort!

  This was our 2nd visit over the holidays to this resort. We love that it is close to skiing and sledding. Having the ice rink on site is a bonus! Love the proximity to Bend, Sunriver, Bachelor! For this trip we ended up getting a second condo and invited our family. A great trip was had by all!

  Great Location for Skiing!!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Seventh Mountain Resort. Although we had to go into the lobby to check-in, we were greeted in our vehicle when we arrived and waited a short time until it was safe to enter. Check in was quick and efficient. We were offered a wristband to access the pool/hot tubs but since they were closed, we declined. All further interactions with the staff were completed by text message and a request for additional dishwashing soap was handled with our safety in mind. We also used their text message Express Checkout service which was flawless. The resort grounds were well maintained and enchanting. White lights twinkled around trees and the ice-skating rink (which was open!). Blazing bonfires added to the feel of a winter wonderland! Our one-bedroom unit was clean, comfortable and fully equipped for our 7-night stay. We could see Mt. Bachelor from our balcony! The resort provided pots/pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils for 4 that were of high quality and important to us in this time of COVID (we cooked all meals in the unit). Coffee filters were provided and little packets of common spices for our use were a nice touch. The resort is ideally located for skiing at Mt. Bachelor as it is the last resort on the way up to the mountain and the first resort on your way back to Bend. Bend is about 7 miles from the resort with its many restaurants, breweries, and cute boutique stores. The resort also had a nature trail that allowed you to walk along the Deschutes River for miles and miles. We can highly recommend this resort!
