  A mixed bag

  We were met at the port by the owner. We stayed in the ground floor studio for four people. Air conditioning is provided but only in one area so those sleeping at the far end did not benefit. There are ceiling fans but again the one over the far end did not work and probably would have fallen down if it had! Only had four forks, one knife and a teaspoon, four small plates and a couple of glasses and cups. We did ask for some more knives, saucepan and bowls but they never materialised. The owner appears to be constantly frazzled and disorganised. Washing machine was a surprise and quite useful. The other items stated on their website details (microwave etc)did not exist. I wonder what the other studios are like as the ones on the first floor had huge balconies and may be better. Ours had a small unlit patio area that overlooked the concrete platform where breakfast is served. We had breakfast a couple of times. This was a bit of an odd affair. We had no idea of what to expect and really would have been happy with fresh bread, jam, eggs and juice. But there were things like toasted cheese and ham sandwiches, crepes with a lot of Nutella and syrup one day and ham and cheese wraps and yoghurt and honey another day. This is all brought to your table whether you want it or not. I expect many people like that sort of thing but personally I would have preferred to be able to say whether we wanted something or not especially when one of my children has a nut allergy and so cannot have Nutella but would have been happy with a plain crepe. Unfortunately my Greek is not very fluent and the lady who serves breakfast does not speak English so it was a bit of a challenge. We felt guilty (and made to feel a bit quite frankly) when we didn't eat it all up. We caught the bus to Eristos beach which is much better than the local one. Bus service is really good. The apartments are about 5 minutes walk from the centre. The hill is a gentle incline. I am giving the studio 2 stars because it is generally lower than average in many respects (equipment, state of repair, responsiveness of owner) it is not poor accommodation at all.

  Am rating Seva's yet not actually in Seva's

  Booked for 3 nights back in July. Here we are, nearly 11pm just off the ferry and dropped off in some random studio - not what we booked. No idea where we are in resort/ name of studios. Update - think it may be Olympus Apartments. When we questioned this and he finally admitted to us we weren't in the place we booked (after we brandished our details and a photograph so he didn't take us for fools) told ... he made mistake; what can he do; many changes and cancellations. We booked one bed apartment with double bed and it's been given to someone else. Probably the couple still in the minibus going to 'another hotel' - yeah, that'll be ours. He'll come and collect us for breakfast every morning ... yep, we'll work to your timescale mate. He may be able to move us tomorrow afternoon - he'll ask the people in our room if they'll move here for their last night. Haha, well would you?? Told him not acceptable ... asked us to hang on whilst made a phone call and basically ran to minibus and drove off leaving us here. Hate to write a review like this when it seems not given him a chance to rectify but whatever happens we are not in the room or hotel we booked. Sorry but not acceptable at all. Seen a similar review from a couple of years back but recent reviews here and elsewhere have been better. This room ok but not what we wanted at all. Don't see why we should make do! You make a booking so you're not taking pot luck!! Would also add, was in contact with Seva's 13th September and no mention of this issue. Hmmm!

  Sevas Sham!

  Do Not book! Absolute mess room allocated no bigger than cupboard nothing provided for self catering not met at port as promised. My partner who is Greek called ahead when we arrived late at night room given away. Poor breakfast disorganised Walk to sea front & find beautiful cheap rooms & enjoy your hols!

  not corresponding to the description

  Several points of studio description do not correspond to the real status: missing TV, missing microwave; one of the bed realized with a poor comfortable cot. The studio is not in front of the sea as it looks to be from the images; bathroom requires maintenance at the door and floor; slow service at breakfast, strong difficulties to communicate in english with the owner. On the other side, position is quite and at few minutes walking from downtown. It would preferable to have a clear description of what is really offered from the studio instead of discovering it on place.

  Lovely stay

  A lovely stay and great value. Basic studio with kitchenette and bathroom and air con.Beautiful view from balcony , where a nice breakfast was served every morning. Coffee juice, fresh bread jam sometimes toasted sandwich or eggs or pancake and fresh pears. Spotlessly clean and amazing value at 20 euros per night including breakfast in October . Also friendly people. My neighbours have been staying there for 35 years! Not for everyone if you like somewhere posh, but really nice. There was a coffee machine and microwave if you need it. I have looked at previous reviews , if you choose to stay on small Greek islands, maybe it would be polite to learn a little bit of basic Greek! I will definitely be back !
