Lumpy bedWe were getting away from our anniversary. We traveled two and a half hours to get here so we wanted a good night sleep. What we got was a sore back because the bed either needs to be turned or replaced. The towels are brown, which to me is a sign they are trying to hide something. And the TV channels didnt come in. It looked really nice when we got there, just less than impressed with the room. Probably stay somewhere else next time we come here.

Quaint inn, but needs a few thingsSo I found the room to be quaint and generally comfortable. It is not trendy decor, but I wouldnt expect it. Its modern and does not feel old at all. They try to be very accommodating in the room and the linens etc are nice. The room is spacious. This is not a large chain hotel so you cannot expect some amenities. However, our mattress was painfully hard even with the topper. It was a rainy weekend so we retreated to the inn with our friends whom we spent all day with. There is nothing to do at the inn on a rainy fall night. The social areas are very small. The bar is unattended and has the only TV. Not sure if it is cable. The rooms do not have cable Tv and the reception was not good on the antenna. We left a night early because the thought of being bored a third night and another bad sleep was more than we were willing to endure. The breakfast as others mentioned is lackluster. For all of the great things baked in Door County, none appear here and all breakfast options are cold except for what you might heat up yourself like toast.

Terrible MassageMassage review: I am sorry to say, but this was hands down the worst massage I have ever received. I was very particular in my information card that I wanted a very strong, powerful massage. I forget the guy's name, but he was hippie-ish. He kept saying that the myofascial release massage was incredible, but he barely touched me. When I told him that I wanted him to squeeze harder, he said he couldn't until my muscles "let him in." It was clear he paid no attention to my requests. He was just so bad and I am so disappointed. I wasted 2 hours and $180 bucks. With that being said, my wife didn't hate her prenatal massage by her female masseuse. Yelp wouldn't let me put zero stars. Room review:The room was fine, but the TV was broken, which was unfortunate because we were looking forward to vegging out for a night off from the kids.

I've settled for less.My credit card points were soon to expire, so the last minute hotel choices in Door County were limited. The room was really dated. The bed however was comfortable, and the spa tub worked well. They offered some dishware and flatware to use in the room, but the cupboard area was small and there was no sink to wash the dishes. All things considered, I don't want to use dishes in a hotel that I haven't washed myself Covid or not. I will also say the towels were nice and they cleaning crew did work hard to keep the rooms and the common areas clean. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. Really middle of the road.

Spacious RoomsWe stayed here during a fall weekend getaway. We were happy with their covid safety procedures: front desk staff had masks on and signs were up. We also both had massages, which we were nervous about. Both masseuses (sp?) were wearing masks and allowed us to keep ours on. The room was huge with a fireplace and four person table. We had another couple over and were able to use the kitchen to prepare drinks and store left over food. There was a bike rack for our bikes as well. Great place for couples and families!
