  Charming and well appointed family run hotel with easy access to Firenze

  Very comfortable accommodation off the heavy tourist route, with pleasant rooms and charming sitting areas inside and out. Friendly staff gave excellent service in the dining room. Local market stalls good value (but look for Made in Italy tags). A great day spent taking the Funicule up to historic village of Montecatini Alto.

  Great Location

  Nice hotel in a good location. The window shutters could not be opened, so the room was in perpetual darkness, we didn't complain as we only stayed there for a couple of nights and spent days touring. Very weak shower pressure, friendly and efficient staff who responded promptly when told that the hairdryer wasn't working.

  Excellent hotel with very good prize/quality relation.

  From my point of view, the hotel lets its old glory shine. You see a number of elements witch remind me of the glorious history of Montecatini-Terme. But nothing in the hotel seems old. Everything is very well maintaned and up to date. Very nice rooms with well equiped bathrooms. Everything you need is there. About the personel i can say nothing but possitive! Friendly, helpful... at the reception, at the nice pool..everywhere. Not to mention the restaurant! The service there is really fantastic. Breakfast, lunch, diner, allways the same faboulus service. They prépare my steak tartare as it should, the seafood is fantastic and on a regular base we got a apero or a drink offered on the house. Eating in the evening outside on the terras; accompanied with nice music, a dance on the terrace... This is what's real holliday is about for me

  My favourite holiday!

  Myself and my boyfriend have just got back from a week stay and we had the best time! This is a great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence but Montecatini also has so much to offer with great bars, restaurants and shops. We also really enjoyed the funicular railway on one of our days. The hotel was so lovely and very comfortable with the staff very friendly. Always had a good sleep with limited noise from other rooms and the air con was really nice after a hot day out or sometimes during the night to cool down. We also really appreciated getting a room with a balcony which had some lovely views. Fresh towels every morning was really appreciated and the room was always made to feel fresh and clean. Breakfast was brilliant every morning and the service was super! We had some relaxing days at the pool which was also great and a good size. The hotel is following various Covid 19 guidelines and we always felt safe as masks were expected to be worn and there was hand sanitizer at every point of the hotel. Thank you for your brilliant hospitality this has to be one of the best holidays Ive ever been on.

  So friendly

  We traveled trough Italy on our photography tour. We Booked this hotel so we could take a swim at the end of the day. When we arrived, the pool was closed. But the friendly lady of the reception let us swim anyway. The beds were good.. Rooms were a little old but good anyway. We. Had drinks at the bar at night.. Cocktails were great! Many thanks from Belgium xx
