  Sequim Bay Lodge, inexpensive, clean and hospitable

  We were here for two nights and found the family who runs the place to be most friendly and helpful. That's kind of a unique experience, to see such commitment. The room was HUGE and recently redone -- fresh paint, etc. Had a private balcony, set back up the hill from Hwy 101, quiet, good WiFi. The room was freshened up while we were gone during the day. BONUS there is a quarter mile trail through the trees in the back with loads of blackberries. I hope that we can have another long weekend enjoying Sequim, the Dungeness Spit, Port Townsend, Port Angeles and the lavender farms soon. We'll go back to Sequim Bay Lodge.

  Won't Return Here!

  We were desperate for a room and were glad to find this place. But the dark rooms in need of repairs and tiny towels, turned us off for good. It also seems to be a place for construction people to stay with trucks starting up early in the morning. We left early. Need I say more?

  Good pit stop off ferry

  Took 4 ferry from Victoria...rainy and dark by the time we arrived so wanted a place close by but not in port angeles Hotel was @25 minute drive Comfortable king bed/ quiet back unit- continental breakfast- good price Most important was casino down the road-2 miles where they had a great happy hour at the bar..7 cedars

  Quiet, Clean and a very good value.

  We decided to stay here because it was convenient to the John Wayne Marina and the Dockside Grill. It's not fancy but it is located well off of a busy Highway 101 and the rooms open out to the woods and away from the road noise. The room was clean and we were quickly and efficiently checked-in. Except of a barking dog in the room below us which finally quit barking around 2000hrs we had a very pleasant stay.

  Cant Recommend

  Stayed here for one night while visiting Sequim. Wanted something inexpensive that was pet friendly and it was both. However our first room, which was supposed to be non-smoking, smelled so strongly of smoke we had to request another room. The second room smelled better but in the morning we found several earwig bugs in the bathroom. Towels were very worn and coffee maker didnt work. Wont stay here again.
