  Overpriced for basic accommodation

  The positive: - Great location - Lovely view - Comfortable bed - Air con was good as it was quite hot The negative: - Massively overpriced. We stayed 2 nights in cabin 2 over Easter weekend for $180 a night - were in South Australia for 7 nights and this is the most expensive place and BY FAR the lowest standard. - Accommodation is very basic: tired, dark and dated. Some efforts have been made to freshen it up, but painting the bathroom wall tiles (which is chipping) and adding a few things from Kmart just feels cheap and awful. Lacking any sense of luxury or style, especially considering the price. - Breakfast not included, after reading many reviews praising breakfast we were told it was only supplied for deluxe couples cabins. Only supplied with instant Nescafé, some Lipton tea and a small UHT milk. - a rude sign announcing we would be charged an additional $20 if any unwashed dishes were left. Not welcoming at all! - Poor wifi connection, basically unusable. - Cheap toiletries, one tiny bar of soap (with Vasse Virgin literally 600m away selling gorgeous soaps and products why would you not promote some local producers?! I went and bought some soap myself) - curtains were filthy, coffee stained and coated in dust Dont waste your money. Incredibly disappointed and angry.

  Wonderful location and somewhat tired

  Seppelts View Cabins are very well located which for us is probably the most attractive feature of our stay. We are seasoned travellers and only rarely offer an opinion but we felt the need in this case. We stayed in cabin 3 and the place needs a makeover. Tired and cheap accommodation is not what we would recommend. Probably the most uncomfortable feature was that we were attracted by the fireplace in the advert. The first thing we did was to set the fire (which was more difficult than expected as no fire lighters were present in the fire starter kit) and then we noticed the envelope and the notice on the firewood bin that unfortunately had been turned to the side so it was not evident to us.We found that a fire costs an additional $20 to be paid by providing our credit card details. We are opposed to providing our credit card details and will begrudgingly pay by direct transfer. We are also most uncomfortable advertising a feature without offering an explanation if there is an additional cost. We have rated our stay as poor which is a shame.

  Hot summer days, air conditioned Cabins

  While the Cabins are a bit dated, the facilities are good. Air Con is efficient, The bathroom contains, besides a very efficient shower over the bath tub, facilities to turn it into a spa bath. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen section in the one room cabin unfortunately kept being invaded by ants. We managed to discourage them with Spray left under the kitchen zinc, perhaps for that purpose. Most of our days there, it was too hot to take advantage of the outside table and chair setting, They provide a view across a cleared paddock, with horses and a lama occasionally meandering towards the boundary fence. In the distance one could see the Seppelts Vineyards. The owners of the park, while not resident here, were most approachable by phone and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed our stay, and the great sunsets through the bush.

  Relaxing, cosy escape

  My boyfriend and I loved the Seppelts Cabins we stayed in - it was comfortable, peaceful and luxurious with a spa bath and breakfast included.. very good value for money. The cabin boasted vineyard views and was within walking distance to several wineries- perfect for an escape to the Barossa Valley!

  Clean and comfortable

  All we needed for an overnight stay after a wonderful lunch experience at Hentley Farm Restaurant nearby. The bed was comfortable, sheets clean and crisp, surprise breakfast ingredients of bacon and eggs was delicious and cabin although basic was clean. All at a reasonable cost . Thankyou Sharon for your understanding re the ceramic bowl. Will return for another dining experience at Finos and stay at your Cabins again.
