Extremely relaxing - feels like you are truly on holiday!I stayed on the 9th floor with an ocean view facing to the South East. Would highly recommend. We stayed in September 2018 and were able to easily get a park in the hotel car park each night after our day's activities. Buffet breakfast is great

Lovely place in Jeju, but a pit pricyI stayed at this hotel in the context of a three-days event. Whilst the hotel looks old from the outside, it is well designed from the inside (I assume that it has to be renewed at some point). To make a long story short, my stay was good, although it was in general a bit expensive for what I got. I am not sure one can really qualify the hotel as a five-star one. Four may be better (I thus agree with some of the other recent comments). **Staff**: The staff (at the reception, the breakfast team or the cleaning team) was very friendly and helpful, always smiling. One feels really welcome in this place. **Room**: I had a room at the second floor with a view on the see. The room was very spacious and clean. While I was alone, my room contained both a double bed and a single bed, a small corner with a table in front of the terrasse and an office space (I was able to work without any problem). The Internet was pretty good (and this is true for the entire hotel by the way). The only annoying thing is the light in the entrance that was automatically switching itself on when passing not too far (i.e. every time I needed to go to the bathroom). I did not find the way to switch this off. The bathroom was clean and correct (quite standard, but not really reaching a five-star level). **Food**: The breakfast buffet was a nice admixture between Korean-style dishes and Western-style dishes. My only complain is the price (as breakfast was not included in the room fee). It is very (very very) expensive for what one gets. Lunches and dinner were nice and of a very good quality. Again, probably a little bit pricy. **Surroundings**: I enjoyed running in the hotel garden every morning (there is a nice jogging trail in there), that is also a very pleasant place just to stay, enjoy the view to the sea (or to the internal pond) and relax. The outdoor swimming pool was unfortunately closed (too early in the season) and the indoor one was really small for a hotel of this class (it is somehow a big bath tube and one cannot really swim in there). **Overall: To sum up, I mildly recommend the place. If I have to come back to Jeju, I will most probably try something else.

Beautiful Garden and good locationThe hotel is dated, but my room was renovated and the view was fantastic. Staffs were very nice and friendly. Also, this hotel has a very beautiful garden. If you are looking for a quiet hotel with a nice ocean view, I strongly recommend this hotel.

Fine updated hotelThis is a classic hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the sea and surrounded by lovely gardens. It is well run and efficient. I stayed there for four days for a conference. It was good for that. My room was extremely comfortable and updated. The food was good if not the very best. An unexpected bonus is that the new walking trail that goes all the way around jeju goes right past the hotel.

Updated Review from 2017: Some ImprovementsIt's good for the price. Services and location are decent if you rent a car. Hotel is a bit old though, and the indoor pool is small as well as the gym. Don't expect any luxury, the food is ok, if a little overpriced, but you can eat out easily just a short drive away from most restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool always seems to be closed. The best part about this hotel was the Olle Trials. The trials around the hotel connect with others around the island, and the trials and view just outside the hotel are amazing and beautiful.
