  Reasonably priced, Old but Clean Room

  This hotel has passed its glory days. Old fixtures n fittings- the 80s set-up, clean huge room and toilet but fragile toilet door. We took a room with breakfast. The menu need some uumph change with local delicacies thrown in and varieties of eggs (only half boiled egg was served) would be a plus.

  Slow check in

  I stayed for 3days 2nights, check in very slow and i need to asked where to check because everyone is busy doing their own work and pass guest to one another. The room key is not working and need to go down to reception back asked for their help. While waiting for the housekeeping to open the door she walked too slow motion cuz we very tired after a long journey. On next day, the housekeeping did a great job for cleaning the room but they left the rubbish inside the dustbin and didnt washed all the glasses.

  Need improvement

  Good: - my room at the 2nd floor was spacious - good air conditioning and bedding - bath tub in the room - free parking - very strategic location in the centre of Alor Setar Bad - cigarette smoke smell from the toilet vent. - toilet walls were not so clean, they can do better. - ironing facility only 1 in each floor - my room view was a very dirty roof and water tank. - the room telephone and wifi was not working. You may get a newer and better hotel around the same price in Alor Setar. Suggest upgrades from the management.

  Front desk staff not friendly and house keeping entering room

  We facing with un friendly front desk staff and no manners house keeping .. ive made a complaint to front desk that my room has been entered by housekeeping staff in the morning after knocking for one time and while me and my husband was sleeping .. only receive apologies from front desk staff during check out time ,and we didn't receive any apologies from the hotel or the house keeping itself . After so many stay at this hotel i can see all the front desk hotel are not friendly at all, except mrs jaja who always entertain us and helping us during our stay there..hotel management , please ensure house keeping team and front desk team always has update room list so they dont enter guest room without permission easily even though do not disturb sign was hang on the door knob ..

  Good for the price

  A big room for a good price.Quite big for a family of 4.Clean and with lots of free parking at the back.Very near to eating places and shopping mall about 1km away.My room on the 6th floor was good and clean with ample ameneties.
