  Estuvimos 10 dias de agosto en el kiknus y creo que en general el hotel esta pasable,lo mejor para nosotros fue la ubicacion,, pues se puede ir andando ha todos los sitios, stallis beach a 10 minutos , y el centro de malia a unos 15 minutos aunque la playa del ikaros beach esta a 5 minutos y es buena se entra por el hotel ikaros, el hotel en si no tiene mucha animacion ,los lunes, miercoles y viernes,la zona de la piscina esta bien,y los camareros son muy amables,alrededor del hotel hay muchas tavernas y sitios donde tomar una copa o comer,la comida del hotel no esta mal y el todo incluido lo normal bebidas de marca blanca y la cerveza no muy buena,yo el hotel lo recomendaria,y no os olvideis de la barbacoa....

  1st Holiday During Covid 19

  My partner and myself spent 10 night at the Kyknos in mid to late July .Had a lovely holiday congratulations to all the management and staff ,they handled the situation brilliantly. There were some complaints about some of the food being cold.,in general we found it ok .The staff were tremendous very efficient and very friendly. The two main bar staff were excellent Giorgio in particular was fabulous nothing was to much trouble for him.Nanos was wonderful a perfect gentleman. The drinks were very good and plentiful. Our bedroom was lovely, nicely fitted and decorated. You had to request room cleaning service the night before and the rooms were cleaned bedding changed and fresh towels were left,we had our room sorted every third day it was fine We felt very safe and secure.The only place in the hotel you needed to use a face covering was at the reception desk.All in all it was spot on to the extent we have booked to return in September for a further 10 night stay.   Fantastic holidays

  A truly spectacular place. Clean & modern hotel with tastiest Greek cuisine. Lovely friendly staff who made our stay the more enjoyable. Kids pool and main big pool which is open til late. Night entertainment and bar by main pool thats making coctails to die for!

  Wonderful Holiday

  We booked a last minute holiday through love holidays at a great price to Kyknos, 7 nights all inclusive, we had a fabulous, relaxing week in the sun and cannot fault the hotel, we were greeted at reception, our bags were taken and sanitised, check in was easy, we had one of the rooms that hadn't been refurbished, but it was absolutely fine, clean and comfortable, the shower was great, it was also nice and quiet. Our 1st stop was lunch, this would normally be a buffet but due to Covid was plated by very friendly staff, lots of choice, large portions, the food was lovely and fresh, the seating area is outside overlooking the pool area, the staff were very attentive, bringing cutlery, drinks & clearing plates We relaxed by the pool, with cold beer from the bar We explored the local area, a short walk to a beautiful, long beach, with bars, restaurants and water sports, lots of sunbeds too Just up from the beach is a strip with lots of shops, bars, a pharmacy and car hire, a nice walk in the sunshine, stopping off for a drink and snack, the Gyros was fab We mostly ate at the hotel because the food was lovely and the service was great, meal times were good, didn't have to get up too early for breakfast, plenty of room at the pool, although I can imagine it is busy in the summer, we swam in the pool that was clean, if a bit cool in October The pool bar was brilliant, plenty of room to sit, it was sanitised regularly through the day, the bar staff were fun and friendly, Olga worked her socks off in the evenings, keeping the drinks flowing and the music playing We treated ourselves to full body massages at the hotel too We had a wonderful relaxing, fun week and will definitely return All the staff worked very hard and were friendly, they followed covid rules well, we felt totally safe

  Last week of Aug - family holiday

  Very nicely layed out hotel. Due to covid lots of services not in place - no evening entertainment including childrens entertainment. We booked a standard family room which was very basic 1 room with 4 single beds an no room to swing a cat. So not sure where our baby was going to sleep? We wer then offered a larger family room (the one on Jet2holidays website, the one I assumed we had booked) - 1 bedroom with a double bed and another room with 3 single beds- but we had to pay 25 per night extra for this. This had to be payed in cash!! Room very basic but clean, shower was awful and leaked, soaking the whole bathroom. Not ideal when you have small children who can easily slip on wet tiles floors. Room cleaning has to be requested - 24 hrs in advance. Very little English families - almost impossible to get a sun lounger at main pool due to people putting towels out early doors. Food very limited - very little choice other than pasta and ice cream for kids. We eat out most evenings. Hotel staff friendly but more friendlier and chattier to the German guests. Wouldnt come here again - much nicer places in Greece. But we still made the best of a weeks holiday during this strange time!
