  We had a fantastic break, spacious room with a lovely walk in shower, friendly staff, great pool areas, food was good and fresh, loved the omlettes at breakfast, fantastic location, would definitely go again. Only downside was the mosquitos and wasps. Thanks for the wonderful holiday, Guy and Brigitte

  During your stay at the Apollo Palace you can expect to do the following Queuing for your drinks Getting lost trying to find your room Swatting wasps away from your drinks Queuing for another drink because you finished the tiny one they gave you before you got back to your seat Trying to steal loo roll Counting your bites Drinking crap beer Holding the shower head while your partner washes her hair Laughing at the catering managers perm Looking for housekeepers Swearing at broken appliances Queuing for your food Walking to the local shop to buy more repellent Cursing the broken gym equipment Taking photos of bed bugs Wondering why you didn't book to go to Turkey Queuing at reception to complain about stuff Waiting for buses that never turn up Reading the fictious entertainment board Complaining to other guests about the insects Disinfecting your hands with watered down sanitiser Googling malaria symptoms Wondering when will it end

  Fab hotel

  We stayed here first week in October for a last minute holiday in the sun. It is a large hotel with several pools and bars in a quiet little village. The food is all served in the main dining room and we were spoilt for choice, I have never seen so many options for breakfast and all the staff were very friendly, especially Christine on the front desk. Drinks and snacks are available all day on all inclusive. There are a handful of lovely taverna's nearby, including one on the beach which is lovely and a few shops within walking distance. The bus into Corfu and Benitses is literally just outside the hotel and costs just 2 euro. We went on one of Captain Homers boat trips which was great. In summary a great hotel and exceptional value for money.

  Disappointing

  We stayed for 5 nights at the start of October as a last minute break. Room was large and spacious with a big bathroom with walk in shower and staff all very friendly and helpful. Food was of a good standard and plenty of choice. Dining room well managed by staff but long queues at busy times. It is a large and spread out hotel with 3 big pools. We were all inclusive - food was fine, you had to pay for bottles of water at the bar, but drinks shockingly watery and we didn't spend our evenings there after dinner as would rather go to one o f the local bars down the road near the small pebbly beach. Would say this is only really a 3 star hotel - the towels were very small and thin/scratchy, the sunbeds were cheap and uncomfortable, the pools were not really tidied up at the end of the day, Maybe it was just end of season disinterest, but more attention to detail would make a difference. We had some rain which brought out the mozzies - everyone was bitten lots. Easy to get into Corfu town as bus stop right outside the hotel and well worth a visit. A few local restaurants and bars in easy walking distance which other people reported were good. 2 good supermarkets nearby. No real beach but a large area for sunbeds by the sea where you can swim and just a short walk from the hotel. Overall not a bad experience and would describe it as a bit like a holiday camp in atmosphere which is not our usual choice of place to stay.

  Pleasant getaway for a few days

  A good place to unwind a little for a few days - not too busy, covid-safe generally - restaurants got a little busy and service was great. there were some people not following guidelines around the pool so a few more measures in place to guide and control would be helpful, but otherwise there was always enough to eat and drink and it was a relaxing envirnoment with easy access to bars, restaurants and a beach - a good place to get away and a great service from the managment team who rectified a small issue super quick and with compassion.
