  Cozy and relaxing stay

  The B&B is located ard 20min drive from the town centre. We immensely enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness there for two nights. The hosts (a couple with a daughter and a dog Princess) are very welcoming and friendly. They prepared breakfast for us which are nicely presented, delicious and not repetitive for two days. The dining room is very homely and the Christmas decorations and soft christmas songs make the dining vibe even more cozy. Room is spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable setting reflecting the hosts must have put great effort onto its design. The hosts are also very passionate in recommending the places and restaurants around. All in all, this B&B deserves its highest ranking in Denmark and it definitely formed one of the most memorable part of our western Australia trip.

  What a hidden gem!!!

  We loved our stay here. From the moment we walked in we were greeted like old friends. Terri gave us so much information on the area and what to see and do, and helped us plan our 2 days stay, which was just perfect. Breakfast was amazing, and served nice and early so we could make the most of our day. Terri and Brett told us about a local winery that has live bands in the vineyard on Friday nights and suggested we pack a picnic and even lent us camping chairs and blankets to make our time more enjoyable. Seriously, they went above and beyond with their hospitality. We highly recommend you book here, you will not regret it!!!

  From the moment you arrive you are greeted like old friends and the views and the sunset are simply stunning. The hosts are lovely people (even princess the border collie) and every detail was perfect, especially the breakfast. we will be back very soon. Thankyou Terri & Brett

  So SENSATIONAL that I extended my stay!

  My oh my, what a SENSATIONAL B&B! After 2 days of doing big walks in Albany, I retreated to Denmark to wind down and I was so happy that I chose to stay here. The whole place was just incredible. The sweeping vistas of landscapes, the magical sunset, the starry starry night, the serene and misty mornings, the elevated unsurpassed beauty...mmmm it's the most peaceful and quietest getaway I had. Initially I only stayed for 1 night, but so incredible was this place that I texted my manager and asked if it's ok to take another day off and thankfully she said yes! Terri was very kind and gave me a last minute discount for my 2nd night. There's only one other couple staying on my 1st night (everybody else has left that morning), but on my 2nd night, that couple left so I had the whole place to myself! :-D Terri, Brett, Shakira are amazing owners of this place (and their dog, Princess). They're so sweet, kind, friendly, accommodating and really showed the true hospitality. I do envy them :-D Their lifestyle is the epitome of what I dream of having one day and I feel very happy for them for achieving their dream. Before I arrived, I wasn't sure about the dinner issue. Terri clarified my concern and after I checked in, she remembered and asked me again if I have sorted the dinner...to which I said yes, but to my surprise, later that night, I heard a knock on the door and there she was handing me a bowl of noodle that they cooked themselves for dinner. Wow I was pleasantly surprised and touched! Thank you. The noodle was yummy. Speaking of food, the already included breakfast was also very delicious and it came with a view! I booked Spa Suite 1 and Terri said it's the best room out of 4 and it's true! My room had all the views smack bang in the middle. it's beautiful, spacious and comfy and it had a huge bathtub with the forefront view of the sunset. I felt so spoilt! The bed was huge and so soft that I slept so well. My first night stay was the best because I witnessed the most magical sunset and had an absolute star-studded night sky. Second night wasn't that good due to gloomy weather which was weird because the forecast said it's gonna be sunny, but I still enjoyed it all though. (My only criticism is the radio and the table in the corner. When I went there to adjust the radio, I noticed it was very dusty). The B&B location was also unbeatable. Firstly, the drive from the town was very scenic. The location is far and yet close enough to/from town. It's also such an easy and scenic drive to all main attractions of Denmark. I could wake up as early and come back as late as I wanted knowing that Sensational was only close by. Terri recommended a lot of places for me to go, like the honey meadery and the toffee shop. I tell you what, I had to constrain and quickly got myself out of these places before I made myself broke because there were just SO much temptations and I kept buying and buying HAHAHA esp the toffee shop. Oh what a place! Their toffee and burgers were so amazing! I also bought lots of honey from the meadery for my mom and myself. The other thing I want to mention was the 'total' absence of lights at night time. It may sound crazy, but to me the 'total' darkness was something quite special. Turn off all the lights, stand outside and just let yourself be enveloped in the darkness...but don't do it if you're scared of darkness :-D cos it's really really pitch dark! I really liked it though cos it's not something you get much nowadays. Do also take a walk in the surrounding property. It's huge and very beautiful. In the mornings, if you sit still enough and observe, you would see lots of beautiful birds, esp the blue wrens! OMG they're stunning and so cute! Anyway I can go on and on talking about this place. You just gotta come and stay here to experience it all.

  Terry and Brett are fantastic host's and go above and beyond in terms of giving you the best advice on where and what you must see in the region. They were also able to tell us about good 4x4 tracks as well as must see beach spots. I would definitely take my wife back to Denmark to stay at sensational heights, it is incredibly relaxing and the accommodation was immaculate!!
