  Good Hotel in Western Standard

  Its a good Hotel for short stays. The rooms are quiet tastefully decorated and the breakfast could be called Intercontinental. A deficit is the not english speaking staff. I returned from job in the night and got no warm water for shower. I just called the reception what was not quiet helpfully.

  Good for business

  The senator hotel is a good hotel. The studio rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. The wifi is good. The breakfast is correct, the restaurant provide food of good quality. The tv does not shows any international channel, this is a pity to have only Russian channels.

  Nice hotel and helpful staffs

  Travelling with toddler son, I had booked this hotel after reading about so many other hotels. It turned out to be a good choice. For a 4 star hotel it is a bit small, and our room was smaller than I had imagined. At first, Internet or rather WiFi, was not working, but the staffs were helpful to sort it out quickly. A few things like hair-dryer, or the little fridge, were not working, but I didn't complain about them since I didn't use them. Of course, I spoke no Russian and the (reception) staffs spoke a very little to no English, so the communication was a bit challenging. Even then, it was possible to work things out through translation apps! Due to flight issue we arrived a day later than expected, but still the staffs didn't charge us for the night we didn't stay. That was very considerate of them! Breakfast was fine, many different things to eat, except that there was not much choices for bread, and no cornflakes/muesli choices for my son. We had a delicious dinner. On my 2nd day, at the restaurant/bar I met a very nice young (bar)man, who spoke English well, and he was extremely helpful with everything. That was really great! Overall, for our budget, it was a very good deal, and me and my son had a fantastic time at the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

  Poor room - to be avoided

  Not good. Not. Good. Gloomy place all together. Room: half the curtain came down when I tried to close it, the other half got stuck. Remote control TV missing. Three lights in the bathroom - only one working. Wobbly toilet seat. Breakfast poor. Coffee-machine broken. Friendly staff.

  Excellent

  I was quite satisfied with my staying at the hotel, service was perfect, location very near to the center, but in a quiet street. I would also mention very big bathroom and good soundproof room, nice breakfast. The only minus - coffeemaker was broken, so the only coffee they had was instant.
