  Nice and clean hotel with basic accommodation

  The Selaras Guesthouse in Bandung is nicely located and quite splendid for a two star hotel. Problems that I've encountered, however, were the staff not really speaking or comprehending English, the ridiculous testing of the sound system for a wedding on a morning at 6AM and also the noise that gets caused by the mosques (not the hotel's fault, but earplugs could be provided for guest use). The breakfast is quite good and the WiFi connection is OK, leaning towards quite slow.

  homey Hotel

  homey Hotel! Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. But one bother me, the noisy at night! Really cant sleep! I dont even know what was it but like something hit the roof very loud. Fall asleep at 2 or 3 am then in early morning theres reunion of one university because Selaras doesnt have function room so they held it in main space beside the garden. Breakfast ala carte so so, can get more in other hotel with same price.

  So so

  The guest house was clean and spacious but a little bit old fashioned. You can find local market at sunday right in front of the guest house. It was really interesting , that you can find a lot of local food or you can just ride some bicycle. It has kids library, but unfortunately while i was there the library was closed. At the weekend ,this place often rented by couple to do their wedding there.

  Pleasant stay and excellent service

  I stayed 1 night with my friend at Selaras. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The terrace room was nice too and it was so clean. On bed, there's a welcome note with my name written on it and some chocolate. It was really thoughtful and special. I never had this experience before thus this stay is memorable. The breakfast was nicely presented and it tasted delicious. The house is easy to access because it's close to shops and restaurants that open until late night. I would be glad to come back staying at Selaras because I felt welcomed and received excellent service. I would recommend this too my friends.

  warm and homey

  Type of hostel that is homey and warm, not much of facilities, however location is strategic near to market for food hunting. Hostel crew also very friendly and helpful. over weekend often used as wedding or engagement event.
