  Excellent budget apartment on tram and bus routes, walk uphill to centre

  We stayed her for two nights en route to the south, in order to explore Clermont and have a break from the road. It's a tidy uphill walk to the city centre but you can catch the frequent tram which stops near the hotel, or a bus round the corner. This is 'frills free' but a quite spacious apartment (sleeps four) with kitchen, crockery, cutlery etc and good privacy. The underground private parking with a lift straight to our floor was a main reason for choosing this particular aparthotel, there are several others nearby.

  Tricky access on a Sunday

  The residence reception is closed on a Sunday. I had booked via booking.com and the residence sent the access codes very quickly. There is parking available (costs extra), however, make sure you reserve in advance. The hotel is next to the Rugby club, so check if there is a game on before you go. Codes gave access to a lobby and then a post box, which actually contained all the keys for people arriving that day, in individual envelopes. Not sure how secure that was. Parking is at the rear of the property, so you have to go round the block to get there and use the fob provided to get in. There is a lift. Studio was quite well equipped. Wifi OK. Bed comfortable, but room was pretty warm as there is no air con. Reception was open the next morning. Most important thing is to take out your rubbish as you will be charged extra if you don't

  Apartamento de un dormitorio es amplio y cómodo. La situación es buena. La cocina sin extractor de humos, los utensilios muy sucios (no entiendo como cobran la limpieza) y escasos no tienen ni rasera ni cucharones para servir una sopa. El baño estaba bastante limpio. En general está todo viejo necesita una buena actualización.

  Shocking left myself and family high and dry on a busy Saturday..

  Having traveled from southern Spain on route home we arrived at the hotel at 8pm on a Saturday to find the shutters down, nobody on site, we call the number provided at reception to be greeted with an answer machine, we left our message, called the hotel number direct, we booked the hotel through laterooms.com so decided to contact them they said they would call the hotel and come back to us.. we waited 20 minuets called back they put us on hold, they said they would call back within an hour 2 hours later still no cal, no accommodations for a tired young family. At 11pm we decided to continue on our journey through the night as the vehicle was the safest and warmest place to be No information given lousy treatment of a regular customer to laterooms. Both this hotel and laterooms.com left us high and dry out of pocket. And to be completely honest you didnt give a damn Action will be taken later this month.

  Good rather than very good.....Reasonable overnighter

  Have stayed before, so I knew how to find the car park. Street parking is available, but was pretty full when we got there. Reserved a space ahead. Helpful staff. Reasonable room. Wifi OK. Average shower. Basically does what it says in the book
