  In this area we don't look left or right. It is Hotel Das Seiwald.

  Sometimes you read reviews from people and you wonder what they expected. Except 1 review, all 3 and less starts are 5 or more years old. The recent one is an Israeli who is probably the first time here and expect European hotels to have air condition. That is not the case here. Ask for a fan if you have it that hot, but generally opening a window helps. And the food? In Israel I know, they go completely beserk at breakfast, but that is only there. There is nothing to complain about. And the room size? I do not understand either. Rooms are perfect and the more you pay, the bigger they get. But this person was probably a member of a tour group and I assume they rent the smallest rooms. Having been in them, they are still a good size. Meals are excellent and kind of local taste, so if you do not like the German/Austrian kitchen, you might have a problem, but there are various dishes to choose from. Service is personable with employees that have been at the hotel many years. Well maintained and beautiful wellness area and walking trails starting at the front door in the summer or cross country trails in the winter, make this our favourite holiday destination.

  First Class Experience

  Everyone here makes your stay their top priority. Fine evening dining. Great breakfast. Well needed snacks after skiing. We had one of the larger panoramic view rooms and it was a great choice. The pool and sauna facilities are very nice. There is underground parking available for those winter days. Top quality ski areas are very close if you want to drive, however a ski bus is available also though not so easy to get to and from each day. The owner and his wife, in fact all staff make sure that everything is perfect. A wonderful, wonderful stay.

  Perfect hotel for a skiing holiday ...

  We keep on returning ... year on year. The hotel is in a great location and has ski in / out straight down the hill to the Kiirchdorf slopes and the outstanding local ski school - perfect. Hotel Siewald is a fabulous hotel run by a caring and helpful family offering a very personal touch. They have excellent long-standing members of staff who go out of their way to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The pool and spa facilities are very clean and inviting - just what you need after a full day skiing. The rooms are well cared for, clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds and warm duvets. The restaurant is well laid out with views down the valley to the mountains. Excellent choices for breakfast and various delicious options for dinner. They are happy to accommodate any food requirements. The hotel has a good sized warm boot room with boot and ski racks. There is plenty of parking. The local Kirchdorf ski school is fabulous and has instructors who speak a multitude of languages. Ski school is a short walk across the snowy slopes or a quick ski to the meeting place ready for each day. The 10 minute ski bus trip to other resorts is frequent and efficient, making the skiing more varied and challenging. We will continue to return to Hotel Siewald and are happy to recommend it to anyone.

  Great hospitality

  We just returned from a 4 nights stay in Seiwald. We booked the keisar suite which was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. The dinner and breakfast are excellent. We needed a gluten free options and they assist us and gave us many choices in both breakfast and dinner. It was very important for us and they make our visit easier with variety of choices. Our kids enjoyed the pool at the afternoon very much. The view from the hotel is great, the rooms are specious and clean. Ski school next door was good for kids in beginner level. There are beginner slopes nearby the hotel but need to travel 10 minutes to the bigger ski area of steinplate weidring. We really enjoyed our visit and great hospitality and always with a smile from the hotel owners and workers.

  Excellent hotel

  I visited this hotel in august with my family. The rooms are large, beautiful with good free wi-fi. The location is excellent, with a large courtyard with amenities for children. The breakfast and dinner are very good with a lot of natural products. This hotel offer gluten free products.
