  Not only is the location of the hotel perfect, the staff are so friendly, the service perfect & the food to die for, I had the Angus steak, one of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant anywhere. I look forward to going back.

  Fantastic Hotel

  We had the pleasure to visit and dine at this Hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. They took care of all our needs. The chef prepared a superb dinner of Black Angus that was the best I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend a stay and will be back on my next visit to the Jungfrau region.

  Seiler au Lac is a very nice Hotel, situate in front of Lake Brienz. You can walk to Interlaken by the Aare River. The food is delicious. The staff is very professional, helpful and very friendly. The boats that tour the Lake is just few steps from the Hotel. The bus that takes you to Interlaken and Itselwald is in also few steps from the Hotel.

  Wonderful hotel and postion

  We arrived in a new area to us and from the moment we walked into the hotel, we felt very welcome. The receptionist made us very welcome and explained the Covid 19 restrictions in full. Our room had been unused for 3 days and then deep cleaned, we had the option to allow staff in each day or not, we chose to wait 3/4 days before allowing for some cleaning. A wonderful view down Lake Brienz greeted as we walked in. Due to Covid the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, although the Pizza and Pasta section is open. When we had our first restaurant meal it was outstanding as was the service from the staff. We enjoyed 5 days of superb food and service, we laughed so often at the fun and mischief of the staff. Social distancing and cleanliness was very good. The hotel is wonderfully positioned looking down Lake Brienz, the Lake Steamer stops 200 metres from the front door and the regular bus service to Interlaken and Isaltwelt is half hourly. Lots of good flat walks and loads of activities. While we were there the Seaplane Pilots Association had a meeting and we watched the seaplanes taking off and landing. The Outdoor Activities team finished their sessions in front of the hotel and all occupants of the boats joyfully leapt into the water providing great entertainment. This hotel and area provides a great centre to explore the Bernese Oberland and all its wonderful experiences, This hotel comes highly recommended.   Best of the Best

  Excellent Location with breathtaking views of the Lake Brienz. Stefan, the Manager, offered us the best services and care and made sure our stay was an excellent experience. From Price deals to onsite travel tips, he assured everything at 100% quality. He sets a great example for all Hotel Managers to follow. Rooms were spotlessly clean and the Hotel followed all the necessary measures during this COVID situation and assured all the guests safety. Housekeeping staff were nice (with one or two rude ones) but we definitely enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was bit limited but enough to make one's start the day well.
