  are they a cheat ?

  If you book them for example in hotel.de you will beshown a fantastic double room with 2 big beds . After confirming if you look again you find out that now you have only a standart room for the same price with no picture. If you call the hotel most likely they want to assign a small double room with a king or 2 single beds. No more 2 big beds , I find that very disappointing.

  Great location!

  The hotel is located right on the beach in Eckernförde. It is a few meters away from the city center which you will appreciate during summer as it is not that busy. The city center is less than a 10min walk away. When we reached the hotel and walked into the lobby I had this special feeling of being transformed back into the 80's. I cannot imagine that much has been done here since they first opened many years ago. Anyways, hotel staff was friendly and even brought us to the room showing how to enter the doors at night and where to find breakfast in the morning. The rooms must have been refurbished recently. Very clean and nice in bright colours, absolutely nothing to complain about. The hotel offers free WIFI access and free hotel parking. You only need to ask for a special coin in order to leave the car park every time you take a drive.

  Nice Hotel

  The hotel is placed right on the beach in Eckernförde. Great hotel with clean and modern rooms. The breakfast was also very good with a large selection. Try the fish restaurant Fishdeel in town. One of the best fish restaurants we ever been to.

  Very pleasant stay

  We stayed for two nights while exploring Eckernforde and Schleswig. I booked a room with a view of the Baltic. We had a lovely view of the water and city of Eckernforde. Breakfast buffet including hot foods was very good and the dining room is beautiful with stunning Baltic views. The hotel is directly on the water and walkable to city center by beach or sidewalk through park and other pleasant areas. Parking is free, first come, first served. I believe that the hotel was booked our second night, but we still were able to park on the property despite returning to the hotel in the early evening after many others had arrived. I would definitely book again.
