  Nice surroundings

  We stayed for 2 nights and we were very welcomed at the reception. Nice staff and godd information about things to do nearby. Comfortable room, quiet, great breakfast and beutiful view from the room to the old Town of Mölln. Dinner was well prepared, meat was excellent cooked and good choice of wines. We have already decided to go back next summer. Klaus and Reidun

  Romantic getway - extended weekend

  Nice hotel at the lake, 15 min walking distance to town - either via small forestlike path or via the street..Rooms on the small side, but nice and clean, bathroom/shower functioning. Rather difficult to connect to wifi, but once connected it was OK. Beautiful view over the lake from balcony. Breakfast very basic, but all fresh and well-prepared (missed a croissant or pastry though) Very weird smoking policy - guests would stand in front of main entrance, where all non-smokers would get the full "benefit" of the smoke, but would prefer guests were referred to their room-balcony. That was on the other hand not permitted. Staff all very friendly and serviceminded, we were weicomed and treated very well all through our 3 night stay.

  Lovely location and good with children

  We travelled with our 15-months-old daughter, and we rented a baby bed for her. In the bed was a teddy for her to keep which was a nice gesture. Although this is mostly a place visited by couples, the restaurant had a lovely children's corner with toys for children appr. aged 1-6. This, along with the patience of the staff with our curious daredevil of a daughter was much appreciated, and the location is very idyllic. The room was fairly large.

  Ideally situated hub for touring.

  What is there not to like? Our regular tour company likes to use small hotels in villages central to the chosen tourist destinations. Usually their choice is good. This time it was exceptional. Reception and checking in was smooth. As with many hotels not designed for bigger groups arriving at once, the lift was slow, however the stairs were were wide and easy to use for some of the very elderly in our party. Our room was comfortable with enough power points for the modern device heavy traveller. The food was generally good. The wide range of English and Continental food made breakfast worth getting up for. Evening meals were also good although at times the chef gave the impression he was a TV chef, creating dishes just slightly above the traditional German meals we have, over many years, come to love. The staff had a good command of English and were always polite and helpful. What was stunning was the location. All the rooms had a delightful view over the lake and a balcony that we never found much time to use. The village was within easy walking distance. This is a good place to use as a base for visiting the major towns and a pleasant place to stay.

  Nice location, Restaurant fine

  Stayed here for one night whilst en route from Frankfurt to Rügen. Room clean and OK, bed somewhat hard. Location is very nice directly by the lake and within walking distance of Mölln 'old centre'. Restaurant was surprisingly good and the dog was also welcome. Would stay here again if in the area.
