  Perfect holidays!!!

  Wonderful place!! The hotel has exceeded all our expectations very well. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The view is fantastic. Everything is made to satisfy any request. the food is great and the kindness of the staff wins you over. We spent one of our best holidays here. One of the most beautiful thing it the sauna...a mind/body paradise where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The Hotel is the perfect place to spend holidays both in summer and winter, with family or alone. We we want nothing more than to come back!!!!!!

  Wonderful!

  The hotel is stunning and set in a picturesque lakeside with the mountains overlooking. The best thing about this hotel is the unobstructed view of the lake. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is of a high quality and delicious!. There was thick snow during our visit which made the experience even better but I imagine it is just as spectacular in Summer.

  Beautiful setting

  We stayed here for 2 nights. Very much liking the exterior look of the hotel and interior design of our panoramic room, we thought the dining room we were seated at, was clashing with the overall modern look & feel of the hotel. There seemed to be 2 dining rooms, of which one was more in line with the modern look & feel, but since we had booked HB option, we apparantly couldnt sit in the other part of the restaurant. In all honesty, we wouldnt book HB again; the menu was not bad, but the meals were very simple. That we couldnt choose where we wanted to sit made us feel a bit less welcoming. Combined with that awkward feeling, the service offering was not always consistent. From very friendly check-in personnel & charming older lady serving us eggs at breakfast, to a quite unprofessional (or unexperienced?) and somewhat unfriendly waiter who served us dinner. Apart from not smiling, he forgot to serve multiple things like bread, coffee and the bill, even after asking and him acknowledging. From a cleaning point of view, there was a small hiccup, since our room was skipped from the daily housekeeping routine, while we were out hiking for several hours. Looking forward to a relaxing bath afterwards, it was a bit annoying that we had to go and wait at the reception, so they could send someone to clean our room. As overall conclusion: we really liked the general setting and many hiking options of the Achensee, so for sure would recommend to visit the region for a couple of days, but with this mixed hotel experience and considering the price we paid for 2 nights, we are not sure if we would book the same hotel again.

  modern spacious rooms, tiny spa, a bit overpriced for what you get

  first things first, the hotel is newly renovated and I loved the design of our room.. The room was very spacious. Also the access to the lake is beautiful. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough to use it so we had to depend on the Spa. The spa has a beautiful design but it is very small - given that the weather wasn't good everyone was chilling at the spa and therefore the atmosphere was not relaxing at all. it was also very annoying that people were chewing loudly on the snacks (provided by the hotel) in the silent room.... The spa only opens on midday so you have to kill your time till then - if it is raining you do not have a lot of options in this hotel. The room for the dinner is split in 2 and the new part is beautiful but the old part clashes with the modern concept and is not cozy or has a nice atmosphere at all. the food was ok, not great but ok. Seems like they forgot to renovate this part or they did not want to spend any more money on the renovation. For the price we payed I was expecting to get a bit of snacks on midday which is usual in other mountain resorts but this was not the case here. There is no bar and only a small lounge area which is not served in the eveningand no one used it while we stayed there. They also make you pay 20 if you want to use the Spa or the lake access on a check-out day - I know that a lot of hotels have a charge but usually if you checkout on a Sunday they let you use it free if charge as a Sunday is not as busy. The Einwaller insisted on the charge which I think was a bit unfortunate and greedy
