  Poor Value for Tiny Room with Under Provided Amenities

  We stayed a night paying Euro 314 plus 12 for parking and expecting a decent room with the good reviews. We were shocked to find the room barely over 10 Sq M which is Ibis size! There was no air-conditioning, no coffee making machine, no bathrobe and slippers and the bathroom will barely hold a big person. My wife and I had to share a simple chair to watch the mini sized 19 inch TV? If the staff have no been so nice and lend us a fan so that we can actually get a night sleep, the rating will be further reduced. For such poor value, I will seriously consider staying in any seehotel from now!

  Frábært hótel / Great hotel

  Við gistum tvær nætur á þessu frábæra hoteli, allt var fyrsta flokks bæði herbergið sem var með svölum og frábæru útsýni yfir Wörthersee, þjónustan og svo borðuðum við annað kvöldið, það er uppsettur fimm rétta matseðill fyrir hvert kvöld, hver rétturinn öðrum betri. Staðsetningin er líka eins og best verður, alveg við vatnið. Eigandinn var yndislegur og vildi allt fyrir mann gera. Mæli 100% með hotelinu :) / if you are looking for a great hotel on the waterfront in Wörthersee I would recommend Seehotel Dr.Jilly, everything is perfect, we stayed for two nights and had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake, had dinner one night, they have a set five course menu every night, all delicious, the owner was extremely nice and helpful :)

  Friendly hotel

  Always when I come back to this hotel I feel like I am visiting some far away relatives of mine. The location is marvelous , the food also. All the people are very nice. I will come back to this hotel with pleasure. Elena

  Great location, very lovely staff and owner manager

  Beautiful, tranquil hotel on the lake. Would return as an ideal place to chill out and enjoy the views, the location and walks. Staff were very efficient and helpful. I visited in May and unfortunately it rained a lot but would recommend. Perhaps the whole area gets busy in the main summer months but a shoulder may/June and September visit would be great. I think I was just unlucky with drving rain for 3 days!

  Friendly hotel, with stunning views

  We recently stayed for 10 days at this hotel. We received a very warm welcome and a lovely present when we departed. Great friendly service in the restaurant, and found all the staff were very cheerful and helpful. Food was great, we had both breakfast and evening meal there and didn't regret it! Beach area was great, you are given your own reserved sun bed which is a brilliant idea! You can also easily access the lake from the beach which was great. The room was fine and clean, the beds were comfortable. We were also happy with the balcony and view. However, it was very hot there and without air conditioning it made it feel very uncomfortable which was disappointing. Also, would have loved to have a mini bar which would have made things feel a little more comfortable. Also, would have loved to have tea/coffee making facility in room but maybe that is more a UK tradition. These factors would have improved our experience immensely. To be fair it was never stated that we would receive these extras but it is something we assumed we would receive for a superior room in a 4 star hotel. I mention this only because if we had realised this we would have booked elsewhere, despite the fact this hotel is excellent in so many other ways. Also, our English Welcome pack had not been updated, we spent a fair amount of time looking for a hotel which no longer exists, to try to find a mini golf course. Despite these points above I would definitely on the whole recommend this hotel.
