Buena experienciaPersonal amable, habitaciones limpias, mis cosas siempre estuvieron seguras. Buena vista en la parte superior del hotel...desayuno cumple las expectativas, se nota preocupación. En relación al costo es un muy buen hotel.

My stay at Sed Hotel Istanbul for 13 daysWhen I first arrived to hotel, the reception was very accommodating. He followed me to my room. The rooms are very small which is ok, if youre staying by yourself. They could definitely need a totally renovation. The toilet has this smell of sewer. The beds are ok, but if youre using this as a place to sleep, this hotel is perfect. Its not a hotel with facilities, so this should be for spending the night only. Its a cheap hotel to stay at and its very great for the price. The rooms are clean and cleaned EVERYDAY and the housekeeping is great. Especially a woman named Emine - she was like the mother of the hotel. Always did her best and she even checked up on me if I needed anything. The spa area was absolutely disgusting. There were 3 men ALWAYS standing there and looking at you if you were going for a swim in the tiny pool. I didnt go there. It was not comfortable. The breakfast is good. Small breakfast buffet but there is basically what you need. Fruit, salads, bread and some Turkish specialties. The saloon is dark and so horrifying like taken of out of a horror movie. Maybe some white painting will cheer it up ;) The rooftop restaurant is AMAZING! The view from the restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Every time I came upstairs to dine, I was met by this lovely and decent young man, Ismail, the manager for food and beverage. He always took good care of my orders and me. I did an eye surgery and could barely see anything. He was so helpful. His English is great and he is very service minded. He is great at explaining the dishes to me and even make something completely different. Im a vegetarian (mostly) and he was so great at creating complete meat free dishes for me. The food is great and cheap and I think that they have live music every Saturday. Big thanks to the rooftop restaurant. The reception is ok. It depends on whos on shift. Erhan was the best. He was so kind and welcoming. Always smiling and greeting me. Hes fluent in English and hes very helpful. He helped me finding things in Istanbul and even recommended what to see or do. Hes very service minded, kind and polite. He was acting concierge, which was needed with 13 days in Istanbul. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for a long - but very great stay!

ConvientientI stayed two nights here. This hotel is conveniently located at Kabata. The tram station is a five minute walk, as well as funicular to Taksim. I asked for a sea view room but got a partial sea view as there was a building blocking a lot of the view. But I did have a nice view of the Bosphorus Bridge. The room was clean and provides bottled water and kettle for tea and coffee in the room. TV didnt work well though. Their breakfast was very good. Nice variety. I also tried their top floor restaurant which was delicious and fabulous view. One thing I didnt like was the steep climb to the hotel. Even though the walk is short from Kabata station, is a very steep climb on cobbled streets. If you have mobility problems or have a lot of baggage, this place may not be ideal.
