What you see is not what you getWe have stayed in 4 other resorts in Cape Cod over the years and thought we would give this a try since it was "basically" oceanfront. This was barely over a low-grade hotel. The only thing going for it is the location. Their is no office/desk on site which we knew and were OK with. There are no keys, so we had called to obtain a keycode for our Unit as instructed. The Office provided wrong keycode. We had to wait for Maintenance to drive over from their other resort. It was annoying but I just figured mistakes happen, no biggie...until the women staying above us advised they had the same issue upon arriving. Resort has ALOT of maintenance issues, inside & out. Broken furniture, missing bulbs, dirty silverware, broken window locks, no deadbolts, broken/missing storm door, dirty bathroom, wall clock battery was completely corroded, thermostats are not calibrated correctly, peeling/chipping paint inside & out. (Though they did come and install new storm doors during our stay on all 6 units WHILE 3 of them were being occupied. I guess they were prepping for their "busy" season; work should have been done when the units weren't being occupied) There is no "Welcome" notebook/binder which we receive at other timeshares, so we had no local information on where we were located (supermarket, restaurants, food delivery, things to do, TV channels, rules/regulations, etc.) Very disappointing & uninviting, was like they don't even care. Regarding the 1 BR Unit: the Living Room was ok size, but also has a Dining Room Table in it, which makes it feel smaller. The Bedroom is very tight & low on storage (small closet & small dresser- a 2nd dresser is out in the living room). The Kitchen was ok size. Considering most resorts on the Cape do not have cooking, was a nice option. Bathroom was good size, but no vent fans nor screen in the window and the window also did not have privacy film ...Resort has outdoor showers on rear of building, to rinse sand after the beach- peek-a-boo! I am an owner at another VRI resort & this place was a shock. Resort photos are OLD & need to show current condition of the place. If you haven't guessed, I would not stay here again.

Comfortable and cleanNo information is given in advance of arrival about access to the accommodations. I was fortunate enough to have gone on the Resort web site and saw that I had to call in advance to get the access code for our unit. The couple who were in the unit next to ours were not as lucky! When they arrived from Canada and asked me where the check in was I had to tell them that they had to contact the Resort for their access code. The communication between SeaWinds, Interval and the Resort guests is in need of improvement so guests like the ones from Canada aren't left standing out in the cold wondering how they are getting into their room! Also on Wednesday our understanding was that we would get fresh towels which did not happen! When we arrived back that night I had to call and ask about the towels! They were not delivered til Thursday. One final thing was the front window in unit 3 was impossible to see out of due to condensation inside the glass!

Average lodging. Good locationThe location was across the street from the beach, with other buildings across. Slight sea view. Adequate bedroom, very tight, but fully equipped gallery type kitchen. Living/dining room adequate with sofa, TV, and dining table. OK if you can't find an upgrade as location is good. Near restaurants and shopping.
