  Great location walking distance to Cable Beach and bus stop

  We really enjoyed our stay at Seashells in August. The pool area was clean and the pool temperature was great. Some pods for the machine would have been a nice touch). We found the reception staff polite and helpful and having the bus stop close by was handy for our trips into town. If you do not want to be surrounded by families with children this may not be the best place for your stay.

  Relaxing holiday

  From check in to check out nothing was a problem. All the staff we dealt with were very friendly & helpful. The resort is very clean and extremely well maintained. Probably an extra tea towel would be good in the kitchen, apart from that the kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered kitchen. Perfect place to stay without a car, as close to beach, cafes and bus stop. Loved being able to use shower and freshen up after our check out and before our afternoon flight home.

  Large comfortable apartments close to Cable Beach

  I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment for three nights in late October. The apartment was very large, extremely comfortable and well-equipped. This includes the kitchen which had a better-than-average range of inclusions for apartment hotels. Each apartment comes with a good-sized balcony or courtyard with a fan and outdoor furniture. Critically, there is an air-conditioning unit (and fans) in both the living area AND bedroom. The living room air-con would not turn on at one point so I called Reception. I had someone there to fix it within about two minutes and a second staff member showed up to check as well (the remote just needed new batteries). Service at Reception was similarly top notch. The TV has a great selection of movies, including recently released titles. Ample free parking is available. I didn't use the pool but it was large and looked great. I went down to Cable Beach instead, which was an easy walk. There is at least one cafe and one restaurant within walking distance plus there is a general store and cafe not far away.

  So comfortable!

  Now, I don't think I'd say this was a 5 star resort - eg: no room service or poolside bar. It is however, supremely comfortable and pleasant and in a great location - Cable Beach area. Lower price than the 5 star resorts. Has maybe the best pool area I've experienced, apartment 1 bedroom has a useful kitchen and washer/dryer... then also you can cook breakfast on the complimentary gas BBQs. Staff very pleasant. Really enjoyed our 3 day stay.

  Lovely Apartment

  The room was open plan with a small kitchen with everything required if you wanted to cook. Lovely bedroom and bathroom and air conditioners in each area which was great as it was very humid. The pool area is great, I think a few more umbrellas are needed as it was quite hot. The only disappointment for me was there was no restaurant or cafe and no where in the immediate area where you could get breakfast as it was the low season.
