  The place looks good, but it was still ok

  The hotel is just the way it appears in the pics, with huge trees around and a swimming pool, but we found it ok. Because of the trees, there are many insects around, you can see millipedes everywhere and even near the doorstep of your room. There are many mosquitoes, so incase you have a very sensitive skin then please apply odomos or any other mosquito repelling liquid. The room was tidy, but the air-con wasn't that strong (it took a while for the room to cool), and unfortunately no ceiling fans or standing fans available. The staff was friendly (that is a plus) to guide and they provided the liquid repeller for mosquitoes. Breakfast ok, limited. No buffet, just two sets to pick from Set A or Set B and that is it. Its a complete no no for vegetarian choices as they just provide fruits and that to limited cut in the dish and served. There are no lifts, so if you choose to pick a room at the highest level be ready to climb the steep hill or steps (i would not recommend this if you have a kid, it is really exhausting - unless you want to exercise). There is a shuttle service, but limited timings, as i recall just one time 3pm the shuttle drops you at lamai beach and you walk back yourself. Quite close to the indian restaurants but again tiring to walk as ko samui itself has steepy roads, close to Hat yai and hin ta rocks and ko samui viewpoint (the one next to valentine spot), and lamai beach. We picked the sea view room but there were many trees in front making it hard to see the sea, and we were not bothered to pick another room because of the insects.

  It is an OK hotel

  Is it a bad hotel? Not at all! But I did expected more from it. We booked a room with a view not knowing we would have to hike to get there. Good for the excersice though! The room itself was big but outdated. There were holes in the welcome mats, the windows had gaps in between so no guarantee the musquitos stay out and we were given sheets with dried in blood staines. I do believe they were washed but it looks dirty and not hygienic at all. The curtains looked like they have been there for extremely long period, including its holes. Due to being up so high, no wifi for us :(. The distance to the beach and city is like 10 minutes walk if you are a walker and the beach itself is phenomenal. Staff is very friendly but I would start upgrading the rooms a little bit to maintain the standards.

  Great value

  We had 3 huts which were very comfortable and a nice deck ,the swimming pool was wonderful and the breakfast was good.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The location was good and quite as it was a 5 min walk to the restaurants and bars.we stayed two nights before we went to Koh Tao and two nights on the way back . I would stay there again as it was all good .

  Below average

  Very outdated accomodation, the floorboards in the room squeak everywhere - also so slippery that you can fall over in bare feet. The shower barely gets warm and thats after having it run for a while. No ac in the lounge area, only in the bedrooms - not the best ac. Pool is full of dead bugs and dead frogs, swim up bar is not as it seems, they bring the drink from the main area and the pool bar didnt seem to operate at all. Staff are lovely and ready to help - seemed like they were bored as there werent many guests at the time we were there so maybe they were more helpful due to limited guests to serve.

  Not a resort, just a glorified motel

  Pool bar was closed our entire stay. Cocktails were removed from the menu, they told us to drink down the road. Awful food, tasted like microwaved packet eggs. The "Restaurant" had 2 menu items and was part of the hotel lobby, along with the "Bar". Left after day 2 of 8 on our holiday to find decent accommodation. Don't waste your time or money with this place, it's falling apart, the staff are rude, half the things on the advertisements for this place were a lie. This is not a Resort, it's a motel.
