  Entering the hotel, there is this huge entrance hall with reception and lobby. It has a very modern art-design look with combination of gray, blue and white tones. In the Second floor you can visit a small lounge, and read whilst enjoying a tea or coffee in a nice and comfy chair. The floors above contain the rooms with each a window front on one side. The rooms themselves are decorated with a lot of light-toned wood and mostly white. It has a sort of an atmosphere of nature with wood and natural lighting. On the top you can visit the indoor pool. More excitingly however is the infinity pool on the exterior. If you find it too chilly, you can rest in one of the bubble baths next to the exterior pool. For food you can either go to any restaurant (they serve mostly fish), or you can dine in the restaurant one floor below the entrance. You can either access it by the elevator or by using the wooden staircase in the lobby. They serve a variety of Korean specialities to Japanese ones, but also some western dishes. If you want to grab a drink, there is a bar right next to the lobby in the big entrance shall.

  Terrible & Poor & Overpriced

  Yes, It is a 5 star hotel with an infinity pool designed by Richard Meier. What else? Maybe a nice looking lobby? This hotel should do so much better than that if willing to keep charging the guests so expensive. I felt I paid too much for breakfasts, dinners and service. The room I had stayed in had a beautiful ocean view out to the balcony but interior was so cheap. I even had to switch my room twice due to noise concerns from whatever construction the hotel was doing and a water leak from the ceiling. I dont still understand why the hotel did not assign a room where it would be quieter from the first place. My mom and I had to unpack and pack our bags more than necessary. It was so annoying. The attitude from the employees was even worse. We did not get sincere apology or better service until the day of check-out. We had to even downgrade our room because there was no room left equivalent to what I had originally booked. It was just ridiculous. I was purely disappointed.

  Amazing beach resort in Korea

  We were invited to the 1st Gangneung International Film Festival 2019 and we have been indulged at the 5 star beach resort Seamarq Hotel. A terrific experience with great events and amazing dinner parties. Korea has very warm and friendly people. A little princess is a Korean film we recommend to watch! Kamsa mida. Anyong Haseo.   Amazing sea view

  One of the best hotel Ive ever been. The sea view is amazing and it is just breath taking. Beautifully designed architecture and spacious hotel rooom. The pool is jaw dropping tooo. I think it is way much better than singapore MBS inifinity pool. Will def visit again. Of course the nice service and breakfast buffet add more points to this hotel. This hotel is exceptional!!!

  One night is not enough

  It was a lovely experience. Beautiful view, nice clean room, good quality linens and pillows, very good bathroom, kind staff, lovely reasonably priced dinner at the à la carte restaurant. Last but not least, the breathtaking architecture drove us crazy. I would only like to mention three details: 1. The room was a bit hot. I turned the heating off but the temperature didnt go down. We had yo open the balcony door a little. 2. Probably because of the Covid-19 restrictions and the impossibility of a buffet, the breakfast was limited. 3. Booking a room for a second stay seems impossible. Couldnt find availabilities on several random dates I tried between now and early 2022!
