  Staycation.

  We got a room at such short notice, but the process was very easy. I encountered both receptionists and all two were lovely and very accommodating. The staff in the restaurant were also very nice! Im not a big fan of that type of food, however I still enjoyed and stepped out the box - the breakfast was AMAZING! Really loved the French toast and eggs. Our room was cozy, yet so minimalistic! Loved that as well. Loved the ambiance of the place - was very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely be back again! Kudos to the staff of Eco, keep up the awesome work!

  The ultimate peaceful experience

  The time was actually May 2019 and it was such an amazing experience I made a booking for May 2020 but because of covid I wasn't able to. Eco lifestyle lodge is breathtaking the customer service, beautiful restaurant the view oh my word I can't wait to go back. Peace and relaxation

  Great Place to Get Work Done or To Unwind

  So I stayed here for about 3/4 days and I still cant get past how beautiful the property is. I would always suggest to stay in the main house because its right next to restaurant as well as a cute lounge area thats right off a little cliff. This place is definitely for a couples or people looking to unwind like me. The rooms are super cozy and the bed is really comfy. I also loved the bathroom decor as well as lighting. Now for the restaurant....food is AMAZING. I had the smoothies bowls which is delicious. I feel like if you there you must have the lobster Benedict at least once. I bit pricey but very filling. The only thing I would say I had problems with is the WiFi. It doesnt really work most times but all in all I still give this place 5 stars.

  Gem of a place!

  We had a great time staying at the Eco Lodge. This place blew us away and deserves 6/5 stars! The location is great, a few minutes walk down the gully to the coast or to some local restaurants. There is an on site restaurant that offers insane food (try the calamari and the fish tacos *chefs kiss*), amazing cocktails and friendly staff. Check in was incredibly straightforward with Tiffany and the place was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Kyle (the owner) made our trip, helping us out with recommendations of where to surf on the island and going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give that a home from home feel. We originally booked 3 nights at Eco but decided to extend longer as we loved the atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to remote work... then Eco is the place. The WIFI was fast, reliable and you had around 4 connections to choose from based on whether you were in your room, on the balcony, in the restaurant or down in the hammock working. You can rent mountain e-bikes and get a massage from reception at a really affordable price. I think you can probably tell from my review that I would definitely recommend Eco for the place to stay on the east coast of Barbados!

  *** BE AWARE !!! *** TOOK OUR MONEY WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THEY WOULD NEVER HAVE TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE!

  ECO is proud to partner with OUTSITE, the worldwide community designed for remote workers, creatives and entrepreneurs. As the first of its kind in Barbados, they have the amenities of a DIGITAL OFFICE and as such, they COMPLETELY lost touch with humanity. OUTSITE management is unwilling to help their customers. Airbnb does NOT apply its Policies so they do not have to refund travellers. We decided to reserve our room at the ECO Lifestyle & Lodge Boutique Hotel in Barbados. The ONLY way we could book the place online was through Airbnb. Unfortunately, the NEW Barbadian laws made illegal for us to stay at our chosen dates. We requested the ECO Lifestyle & Lodge to change the dates to later in the year or credit us. Our request was refused. ECO Lifestyle & Lodge offered to move our dates only 5 days forward. We informed them that this would also be illegal for us to stay given the emergency legislation in place. ECO Lifestyle & Lodge knew we would have to commit a crime to stay with them on any of these dates. They refused to move our reservation to a later date. They refused to refund or credit us. They have not been flexible to accommodate our situation in contrast to any other hosts in Barbados who more than happily moved or credited us (such as Ocean Spray Apartments who happily gave us a credit without questioning and included a kind and heartfelt message). ECO Lifestyle & Lodge took the money KNOWING that they will not have to provide the service, openly taking the advantage of the situation. Despite the OUTSITE cancellation policy clearly saying that a guest will receive a full refund when it is "illegal to complete [guest's] reservation" as in our case, we have not been fully refunded or credited. BE AWARE when you book ECO Lifestyle & Lodge in Barbados online as this is possible ONLY through Airbnb and you will lose your money in case you cancel your stay for ANY reason beyond 48 hours from the confirmed reservation. You have been warned.
