  Convenient location

  Its your typical motel. We had a basic room with two full size beds a small table with two chairs and dresser with a tv. Nice size and comfortable for a family of 4. Checkin was quick and friendly. The room was dark though. Only light source was from two lamps. The water pressure in the shower was great. Overall it was good to sleep in and shower. We didnt really use any of the facilities like the pool. It was overcrowded considering the concern over Covid so we just went to the beach which is right across the street. Nice easy access. They did have a ping pong, fose ball table and a picnic table to eat at after picking up breakfast at Lenny and Johns Subs which is just a couple of the blocks from the motel.

  Awful

  I have been going to this hotel for 10+ years. In recent years weve seen a decline in Housekeeping and office effectiveness, but we continued to rebook because the location is great. In June I called to shorten my usual 9 day August trip to 7 days. I was assured that my prepaid deposit of $1000+ Would go towards any remaining charges. Upon arrival I discovered that I had been moved to a less desirable room. When I checked my receipt I discovered that although the number of days and room were changed the cost showed no adjustment. I was billed for 9 days. I went to the office and was told only the manager could make the correction and I had to contact him by email. No response was received. I went to the office every day of my vacation. A clerk assured me she texted the manager and a credit would be issued. It never was. Sea Spray owes me $476. I have no recourse but to dispute the charge on my credit card. Many regulars were discussing similar problems. The manager made himself scarce. Shame on you Harry! We wont be back!

  HORRIBLE!!! STAY AWAY!!!

  I took my family to this nasty motel ($237/ night) for 4 nights, but it was so bad, that we left the 3rd day!! This place is outdated and rundown! Harry, what type of operation are you running??!! Their was mold on the ceiling, in the bathroom and the front door wouldn't shut properly. We came back from dinner and our front door was wide opened! Housekeeping came and shut the door, but didn't close properly.I notified the front desk, who sent a maintenance worker to address the problems. The front door was fixed. I showed the worker the mold in the bathroom and he said, " that's not good. " I advised him to please notify the owner/ manager. The next day, the same worker came to the room and said that he was going to paint the ceiling panel. I said that that would not take care of the problem at hand. I had him take the panel out of the room. This place was disgusting!! Instead of replacing the panel, they thought it was ok to paint over the mold and leave it. Wow!! I asked the manager Lynn to have the owner call me. The owner, Harry, never called me. The management is terrible!! Stay away!!

  Beach just across the road

  We had a suite for six one bedroom one queen the other two Kitchen with minimal equipment six seat table sofa and arm chair This is a beach motel not a hotel or resort Good value we used one of the four grills for eating out five nights with the picnic type tables Nice spotless swimming pool simple beach and foot shower Beach badges provided but dont loose one or $40 The last two nights we got another room so then we were ten including 4 grandchildren Just a great spot for a family beach vacation Best beaches anywhere

  Not Happy

  We stayed here for a long weekend at the end of August. We werent expecting the Marriott but I certainly wasnt expecting paper thin walls and to be kept awake til 5am (toddler included) in the morning by college kids above us. Numerous attempts to contact management were made but if we wanted to be able to sleep we had to either go home or change rooms. Of course they couldnt accommodate us and also didnt say sorry about the experience we had or offer money back. We def wont be coming back here and learned a valuable lesson, dont stay in motels!!!!
