  It's an ok place

  I stayed for the period of 22 Jul 15 to 9 Aug 15. On visiting Dhaka for 3 weeks. WARNING: This review will start with a rant before I get to the good point. This place is awful for administration. They kept charging me different rates, when we agreed a flat rate with the "management". It turns out the management is never around when I make an appointment to see this person. They deal with them via the phone line. The other awful point I had to make was being distributed every morning to eat "noodles". I hate noodles and hated being told to eat them every morning. Even when I politely declined the offer at the door. They would knock the door again later to remind me. Sorry to so sound so rude but when you've staying for awhile it really does get annoying. Poor lighting in the bathrooms. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor. It's powered by LED the lights and the floor does not have slip mats on. Good points. Excellent WiFi coverage around the hotel and it is included in your stay. It's fast enough for basic browsing and watching youtube on. Aircon in the room is fantastic and will chill you in seconds. Room was carpeted. The window was double sealed so little noise gets through from the outside world. The airport is very close and they can pick you up or drop you off. Staff are very friendly & security staff present 24/7 to let you in. Pricing for the room at the time was 2500 - 2700 TK per night. Very good rate against the quality of the room. There was a basic gym and a jacuzzi if you require it. But I was out most of the days and evening. Parking out front is available and is secure. As you can read. This isn't a bad place at all. I would recommend a short stay if you're not looking for a lavish hotel.

  Not very iimpressed with the hotel or service received. The receptionist appeared to be very rude and ignored away requests made. The rooms had no towels. The bathroom was very untidy with water everywhere. The views are not so good and windows not so clean. Dinner & beealfast service was appalling. Not to mention mosquitos in the room. My advise to you would be to choose a different airline instead of Bangladesh Biman.

  impressive very impressive service

  its An excellent place for living. Very good behavior of there all stuff .. There foods are incredibly very well. specially Chinese foods are very good. If any one want to stay near airport then its a very good place..

  Nice stay - but amazing service (MUST READ!!!)

  Hotel was good. But what was excellent was the fact the I left my watch (a very nice one too might I add) and flew back to the UK. I realised a couple days later (I know ) and I never expected it but they had it! And they kept it for another 2 weeks until I arranged for my dad to pick it up! Wait theres more !!! My dad got to Dhaka and called them from another nearby hotel! The manager had the watch sent to my dad!!! How incredibly amazing is that. Fantastic service. Above and beyond. Truly going the extra mile (in this case it was around 3 miles ). We sincerely thank the manager at Sea Shell Residence. Thank you sir. Fi-Amanillah
