  Matter of priorities

  First of all, the condo was clean and adequate. Our complaint is the location of the actual condo. There are at least 10 buildings with maybe 6-8 condos. We were placed in the building as soon as you entered the property, only one other place accupied in our building and they were below us. They were extremely loud, so much that several nights we couldnt sleep. Also our view was of the garbage/dumpster containers. Why couldnt they have put us in another building with a golf course view or pool view or at the very least a few doors down in the same building, not directly over someone????? I think there was one other building with someone in it and it was straight across from us. This made no sense at all...and no we didnt ask to be moved because they should have been considerate enough to place us further apart to start with and we didnt know the people below us would be up all night until we were unpacked, etc and in the bed....after all, this was NOT the middle of summer, there was no one there. Also, the bottom of shower curtain in the guest bath was LAYING in the floor of the tub. It was very dangerous to step in the tub for a shower...no way to get it out of the way.

  Great place, except fro floors

  Resort is fantastic, great amenities and ease of location to areas nearby as well as stores and restaurants. My only issue is the floors...they were SOOO creaky. Every step made an awful noise that was a particular problem late at night when trying to be quiet in our own unit, not to mention those in the unit under us. They need to be fixed immediately to provide the quiet and relaxing atmosphere most are looking for in the units.

  Nice stay, good location for local activiies

  Good access to the local towns up and down the barrier islands. It is a clean and comfortable unit. We had little contact with the staff due to the pandemic but, with any contact we did have, the staff was friendly and helpful. Some of the appliances had issues; the refrigerator leaked water on the floor and did not make ice, the dishwasher soap door did not open while running for cleaning. Had there not been a reason to isolate I believe this could have been remedied by requesting a site attendant come to investigate.

  Returning soon

  I have been vacationing at Sea Scape for years. The best amenity is their indoor pool/hot tub and sports complex. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. The complex is clean and well maintained.

  Great place to escape to

  Very nice amenities with 3 pools, rec facility, tennis courts, and golf. Super friendly staff. Close to everything and two minute drive to beach and Kitty Hawk pier. Furniture was dated but very comfortable. We will vacation here again.
