    The only interesting thing is how bad it is.

    My families experience here was bad. This place is trash, avoid it at all costs. Yellow water in the hot tubs, heated pool was not being heated, they decided to paint on our floor and not tell us so we were ran out by the fumes and not given a room on another floor. The self proclaimed manager was not helpful at all. Find somewhere else for your money.

    Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort

    Do not I repeat do not stay at this place its a total dump. My room was not fit for anything to stay in it. Theres bad plumbing black mold rotting baseboards in the bathroom. The room is out dated an in bad shape. Oh lets not forget about the rats

    Not even good for the RATS or the MICE

    We checked in on Sunday Sept, 27,2020 and we were due to stay until October 1, 2020. However due to the conditions of the hotel we checked out Tuesday, September 29,2020. We should have checked out the same day we checked in but we wouldnt have found all the these violations to report to you. When we checked in we were given a notice Due to Covid-19 we will not be providing daily housekeeping. We will be glad to provide anything you need attached to your guest room door handle. Please press 43 on any in house phone Monday Friday or 46 Sat to Sunday from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. from any housekeeping needs. Thank you for your understanding. Have a wonderful stay. Sea Mist management. Upon going in our room it was obvious cleaning was not a word in Sea Mists vocabulary. Here is a list and its not a total list but just an example of the many things that we found. There was at least 3 dust pans full of dirt and sand all over the floor which we swept up and took out. I wiped everything tables, door handles, TV remote, refrigerator, countertops, bathroom, toliet and all surfaces with MY own Lysol wipes and they were BLACK. I had brought these with me and the container was an extra large sized container and upon returning home after 2 days there is a ¼ of the container left. The bathtub had a puddle of dirty water in it. I used tea tree oil in it to clean it and wiped the walls down with Lysol wipes again which were black. We had to clean the outdoor furniture which was also black (we were oceanfront). The A/C unit raddled like it was going to come out of the wall until my husband stuck a card in between the unit and the wall. The entire unit has not seen a cleaning in years. While my husband was cleaning outside there was cigrette butts everywhere and also a mouse ran into the brush and debris. Cigrette butts were in all the flower bed and not just one or 2 but more like 50 or 60. There was a room in our building which appeared to be a laundry room at one time or a room where soda or ice machines may have been and in here was a pile of chicken bones. In the parking garage there was 2 or 3 what appeared to be clean linen having been delivered (folded) containers on wheels, they remained there the entire time. Right next to them was trash cans and dumpsters and rummaging in the trash and dumpsters was a rat the size of a large cat. In our room there was zero hot water none in the bathtub and none in the sink. The fire alarm system which was hardwired in was hanging out of the wall by its wires. Every hallway had dirt & debris and an odor of funk in them. If this place is says its attempting to prevent Covid-19 and other diseases they are way off the mark- they are only inviting them. We can just image the diseases floating the pools and hot tubs as well. These conditions have set off a skin condition that I have and I have sent messages to them requesting to know their General Liability carrier so that I can file a claim with them for payment but they will not respond. This place needs a serious inspection by the health department and not just one building but every building they own. Actually this place needs to be imploated. Please take the time to inspect this place for the health and safety of others. We have alerted the city and their insurance companies

    We Tried

    So I hate typing bad about a business so I will try to leave some good remarks but its not going to help. So on October 17 my fiancé my 2 year old and I entered sea mist registration . The person checking me in had a great attitude and he was so helpful, however the woman checking in another person must of been having a bad day. She was slouched over hand on her chin and no eye contact at all. Her attitude was just awful but We all have those days. So I had ordered an oceanview room. Nothing spectacular but just enough to maybe get a glimpse of the sea. Haha, nope. So we entered our room, number 10309. And the balcony was not big enough to step on to, which was kind of pointless because this balcony faced to road. No water, just road and building. Upon entry to the building, a candlestick was propping the door. I assume someone forgot their key. What was wonderful was getting on the elevator and it had cigarette butts all over the floor and trash. Oh well you get what you pay for right. So I was just hoping the room would be okay. Boy was I wrong . Though I will say my linens were clean, cant go wrong there. The floor was not. The floor was nasty its not that hard to clean up. Or atleast wipe down stuff . The back of the bed, yall come on its not that hard to clean it. Our curtain was broke, had to be easy with closing it. Seriously would anyone want to use clean sheets that are sitting in a nasty sticky drawer? But what really made my night was the fact that I had asked for tp at 630 and no one brought it to me until 10 minutes until check out the next morning which I had called multiple times and spoke to multiple people because my door was also broke and my 2 year old kept getting it open so I needed it fixed and there were no other rooms to move me to. About 1030 maintenance finally came that was about my no lie 10th call and the reason so many calls is because it would ring forever and someone would pick up I could hear talking then they would hang up and when I called about the toilet paper again around 930 pm I was told there was no cleaning staff to bring it that I would have to go down the road to registration to get it, so screw it I bought my own. Literally when you clean a room atleast leave enough tp, the dang roll was under half when we got it. Fixing to leave , everyone had to use the stairs , elevator was out of order. Youve got to be kidding me. I was told that if I cancelled I would still be charged so I just sucked it up. But I would really like a manager to contact me.

    Roaches, Outdated, Unclean, & Smells Horrible

    I never leave reviews but I honestly couldnt let anyone else experience what my family did. There were SO MANY ROACHES. They gave me a room # with a key assigned to someone else and I walked in on people getting dressed. It was a horrifying experience!! It smelled so bad from the moment I walked in the building. Everything was so outdated. Dont waste your time with this one.
