  Stay here if you miss your furry friend back home

  Previous reviews about this hotel's decor and location had been very detailed and correct, so I wont repeat any of this. But I have to correct about their having a rude receptionist which is not that true. Raymond,the receptionist is the brother of this homestay's owner, a guy with a cool appearance,doesn't talk much, but very helpful and attentive, guess he just needs time to warm up before really opening up himself. 'A bouy' their 5 years old mongrel is just adorable, he is allow to walk freely within the outer perimeter of the premise,so if you are not an animal lover, just forget about this place.Because they use solar energy , so I have to give them an extra credit for helping to keep our earth greener. There are a few cafes and restaurants across the road with pretty good reviews,we tried one call Gusta cafe, and I have to give a thumbs up to the owner.Read my review if you.are interested in this place.

  Very friendly

  The owner is great, offered us an array of different traditional breakfasts each morning. Flexible pay time. Perfect pool nice and big for the amount of people in the hotel. Staff are really nice and very accommodating. Loved it.

  BIG Dissapointment

  We are really dissappointed with the hotel. First I mention the best sides of the hotel: Free voucher for feet massage, fridge and kitchen. And then... Room: We booked this hotel for 4nights for 2 adult+13y child. (Which was fine while booking) We were expecting extra bed for our daughter. On our arrival we got room clearly for 2 only (there was no inch to fit any extra bed). From what we understood no any other room is available. We were force to point to stuck sink(with hairs). No one checked balcony and ashtray stayed untouched for all days . Staff: Beyond office hours (when normally you are away) hotel staff do not speak English. (if you are lucky with the shift you can get very limited advice). The staff said us to take the bus 10min. raid to the nearest beach, although you can pass Rainbow Paradise via ground level (dont be shy) and get PUBLIC beach. As we were told most beaches in Penang are public (even surrounded by hotel) and it works with no problem. Breakfast: (quite slow) No other options than: Juice+scrambled eggs+ chicken sausages+toast w butter+coffee/tea (No fruits/flakes/milk/yogurt)

  Uniquely Furnished Boutique with Noisy Nights

  It was an eye opener in terms of how this hotel was furnished and renovated. Nicely landscaped, with authentic antique decor, furniture and an impressive collection of what appears to be antique ceramic figurines. The home comes with an antique baby grand, a walk-in vault. Walking in the room made us feel like going back to childhood, and we had to tip toe to get onto the bed. Everything else is super talk. The bathroom could do with some shelves. Despite all the fancy decor, we had a lousy night of sleep, as the sound insulation was poor, and we could hear every single vehicle that screamed past in the middle of the night.

  Unique Boutique Hotel

  Very unique boutique hotel. Different furnishing in every rooms. The hotel is decorated with fascinating Chinese antiques. Great hotel for group gathering or couples' retreat. The hotel is located just next to Dalat International School, can be seen from the main road easily.
