  Elise Hoerrz was extremely helpful and kind. We arrived to ski at St anton but the resort was closed and they were not able to open the roads. Our taxi took us to Landeck. We were recommended Hotel Schrofenstein. The hotel is family run. The rooms very comfortable. Restaurant cosy and we had an afternoon strolling around the snow covered walks. We are very grateful for the welcome and flexibility of the staff. Would recommend the pear schnapps

  Helpful and hospitable

  Ended up staying at this very friendly hotel by accident when my ski trip to St Anton was delayed due to avalanche danger and all access to the resort was blocked. The staff were very helpful and accommodating given the weather conditions, the restaurant and breakfast were very good. Thank you for being so welcoming.

  The Ideal Intersection Hotel

  I spent a night at the Hotel Schrofenstein in January 2019. I had planned a ski trip in the Arlberg and needed a place to stay for an extra night. The hotel is at the intersection between the road to St. Anton and the road to Ischgl. It is close to both. I found the hotel staff very friendly and the hotel clean. I was happy to find the its restaurant served a good dinner and breakfast, as I was too tired to go looking for another restaurant in the area. This isn't the newest hotel in the Tyrol, but it reminded me a ski trips as a youth, so it had a homey feel to it. The friendliness of the staff and its location will probably make me want to stay there again.

  Schizophrenic hotel

  This hotel had its good points, and its bad ones. The good was the restaurant, with great staff and fabulous food. The bad was that the hotel was lacking hot water. Nobody told us this. When we went down to see of there was a problem, we discovered that all the rooms were affected, but no-one thought to tell us when we checked in. Cannot recommend this hotel.

  Grata sorpresa en Landeck

  Estuvimos una noche después de una semana de esquí de travesía en el macizo de la Silvretta Una cálida acogida, unas habitaciones limpias y bien mantenidas, una cena estupenda y un desayuno espectacular !! A pesar de las opiniones de otros clientes, os recomiendo el Hotel Schrofenstein A tener muy presente en las próximas visitas a esta zona de los Alpes Austriacos
