    Pretty, comfortable, perfect location

This hotel couldn't be better located - it is 200m from the village center with lots of restaurants, ski pass office is just across the street and so is a grocery market where you can also have a very good breakfast fo half the price of the hotel breakfast (which is very good too ). Ski bus stop is 50m away. The hotel has an Intersport shop on the groundfloor of the building, with ski rent and ski service so basically you have absolutely everything you need during your skiing getaway within the reach of your hand :) Hotel is very stylish, decorated in a modern style with some traditional alpine accents taken with a pinch of salt - funny wooden bunnies everywhere, landscape paintings, or a melancholic cow portrait on the wall in the room :) Rooms are spacious, clean, with a kitchenette and a dining space so for who doesn't like eating out the apartment has everything to prepare your own meals. Big comfortable bathroom with floor heating. Sauna in the hotel. Ski room with heated racks for shoes. The only thing I disliked was very hard uncomfortable bed with a pillow so flat that sleeping on it was extremely uncomfortable, I tried to use an extra pillow taken from the sofa... Overall - perfect place to stay in Neustift, highly recommended!

Boutique hotel - was OK but not amazing

We had expected a lot based on previous reviews and the website, and it was fine but not as amazing as we had anticipated. Overall it was mostly clean with a good bathroom - large bath and good shower - and the beds were comfortable enough. There is a supermarket immediately opposite, and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the village. However, our Habicht apartment did not look like the pictures on the website. The actual apartment was quite a lot gloomier than the photos, with a sloping ceiling and no balcony. There were several stains on the carpet in the living area, and also on the sofa. In contrast the kitchenette area seemed very new and clean, but also it is precisely as shown on the website, so you can't even fit a small chopping board between the hob (2 rings) and the sink and you'll need to prep food somewhere else. The room was generally very warm and we wanted to open the windows to cool it down - but one window was a skylight and the rain poured in off the roof, while the other window let in cigarette smoke from the covered balcony below. The website mentions "refreshing drinks always available" but when I asked about coffee I was directed towards the supermarket opposite to buy my own supplies for the kettle in the room. (Maybe coffee isn't one of the drinks on offer, I don't know.) Also there was no soap or shampoo for the shower, just a pump dispenser of hand soap for the basin. So it's hard to rate - some positives and maybe if we'd had a different room we would have loved it, but we can't recommend it based on our stay.

    Great choice

Very nice rooms, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. They have gluten free bread if asked in advance. The only thing to make it even better is that they could have daily ski information printed at the reception for guests.

    Very comfortable stay

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids and they enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We got the apartment and the place was very comfortable and was spacious enough for us. Beds were pretty comfortable too. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Bus stop is just a minute or two walk away and grocery store is right opposite. Breakfast at the hotel was good too.

    Nice apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at Schoenherr Haus. We had a 2 bed apartment with a balcony facing the road which was appointed very well. Handily located with supermarket and ski bus stop a stones throw away. Ski hire located directly below. Restaurants and bars a 5 minute stroll away and free parking available. The only reason its a 4 not a 5 is due to price. I know its Christmas holidays but 300 a night without breakfast is not cheap for accommodation not on the ski field. For a cheaper price Id stay here again easily. Staff were good.
