  Fabulous Restaurant

  We had a family Christmas celebration at the restaurant at the Hotel Schloss Neuhardenberg, and it was lovely. The food and service were excellent. This restaurant is pricey, so it is perfect for special occasions. Our friends had their marriage dinner there. Quite lovely!

  Im not really sure yet...

  ... why people stay at Schloss Neuhardenberg other than for an event such as a wedding or birthday. It is in a small town about 1 hr from Berlin Schönefeld airport (rental car) and coves a huge area of various buildings, a chapel, restaurant and hotel. While the outside of the buildings is very well maintained and inviting, the park area around the buildings is very much neglected. Grass areas are not maintained, brown burnt, grass not cut etc. Not nice if you have an outside happening. However the hotel rooms are very well designed, lots of modern and brushed wood, new bathrooms, large shower and a coffee machine in the room. Some rooms have an upstairs gallery with the bed which makes the whole experience more spacious. Breakfast is inside or out on the terrace with beautiful park/garden views and a pleasure to hang out for an extended period of time even. The team is super friendly and helpful and I have no reservations in coming back, however I doubt therell be another wedding to which Im invited in the future...

  Renovated schloss and adjacent buildings, beautiful grounds!

  After driving in the area and seeing how many villages and buildings need to be taken care of, it was wonderful to come to Neuhardenberg Schloss where all buildings have been restored and renovated, The grounds are simply beautiful: lakes and beautiful gigantic trees make it a wonderful place for a stroll in the early mornings or evenings. I have never seen a chestnut tree as big as the one near the Schloss! And all the flowers near the parking area made for a colourful, happy welcome. The hotel itself is NOT the Schloss and therefore, to answer the review that criticises the furniture, it would be horrible to have Schloss type furniture in modern rooms! We found the rooms large and comfortable and furnished to match the architectural style. Breakfast was also very good, sitting outside on the verandah, looking over the grounds of the estate towards the lake. There are 2 restaurants. We had dinner at the Brennerai Das Land. The food was good and we especially enjoyed the relaxing classical music. The only thing I would like to say is that it would have been so nice to be able to sit and have a drink or snack at the chairs and tables infront of the Schloss, facing the lake. We understood that a group of Savings Banks undertook all the restoration work and also opened the hotel to the side of the Schloss. We really appreciate what they have done and thank them for saving another historical estate.

  Winderful weekend break

  Hotel Schloss Neu Hardenberg is a perfect weekend break. An hour east of Berlin near the Oder,this hotel has everything- great rooms,wonderful landscaped gardens,excellent onsite museum and a church designed by Schinkel. Good restaurant and ability to get away from it all. What more do you need?

  Surprisingly nice

  I was invited to a business event here and was a bit sceptical on what to expect from this location (which, honestly, is the major drawback - it takes you about 1.5 hours to get there from Berlin and there is virtually no public transport). The facilities are elegantly and tastefully equipped, service is very kind and professional. The double-storey room was a very nice surprise.
