  Muy tranquilo

  Hotel muy correcto para visitar Münster, a pesar de estar en las afueras. Hay parada de bus cerca y alquiler de bicicletas. Nos alojaron en un apartmento mu bonito, tranquilo y acogedor. El parque invita a pasear y disfrutar del paisaje tipico de Westfalia. Terrazas muy bonitas donde tomar una buena cerveza. Desayuno completo y correcto.

  Amazing Area Where the hotel is situated

  I must admit the rate of this hotel should be good but with very. Therefore ive chosen average instead. Friendly and good staff of the hotel. Its very typical German hotel in amazing natural environment may be thats why the price of the room is on a high rank. Room was ok, bathroom- very small and renovation needed. The smell of the cigarettes felt still in the room. Pity weve overslept the breakfast which seems to be the best one in that area. The park outside the hotel is amazing, there is even possibility for trout catching/fishing outdoors activity in the lake, next to the hotelss park.

  The structure is at a few kilometers from the city center of Muenster. Parking facilities are the most positive element of the Hotel, which shows an upper scale appearance but is not able to cope with it in a number of details: no air conditioning system in the rooms, no mini-bar, too heavy blankets for the season. And a nice couple of mineral water bottles stating "Herzlich Wilkommen: 2". You have already paied too much for the room.

  Nice family suites, generous breakfast, pleasant pool

  We came here for a family weekend in Munster and actually spent more time at the hotel than we planned, as the kids loved the in-door pool. The junior family suite was nice and spacious with a good bathroom for German standards, however no safe was present and wifi was bad. Service was correct and the breakfast was generous.

  My preferred hotel in Münster

  Parkhotel Hohenfeld has many advantages. It is situated in park-like surroundings, very quiet, with ample parking possibilities in the grounds. The architecture is interesting. The hotel is situated just outside Münster-Roxel, about 6 kilometers from the historic center of Münster. As Münster offers several excellent multistorey car parks just outside the historic center, getting into Münster is no problem. As Münster-Roxel is just round the corner, selecting a restaurant for dinner won't be a problem; if you don't like to go out for dinner, embedded in the hotel is a good restaurant. The staff of Parkhotel Hohenfeld is helpful, polite and well trained. The buffet breakfast is plentiful with a large selection of hot and cold food. Finally a word about the rooms. Parkhotel Hohenfeld is presented as a four star hotel and I have rated the hotel four points (very good) and I will return here gladly, but I will give my honest opinion about the rooms. The rooms are in my opinion not up to a four star standard. Don't get me wrong. The rooms are clean, well maintained and in good repair, but the four star luxury is missing. There are no coffee and tea making facilities, no safe and no fridge. Furthermore, the beds are too hard, but that is of course a very personal issue. The flat screen TV is from a previous generation, with a relatively small screen ann no USB port for facilitating streaming. The bathroom is a bit cramped, and the taps etc. show their age. But generally the bathroom is also clean and well maintained. But despite the lack of some luxury in the room, Parkhotel Hohenfeld is my favourite hotel in Münster.
