  Good hotel with nice restaurant

  Big hotel, with good location on top of a hill. Rooms are spacious and clean, some have nice terraces to overlook the valley. The whole hotel is a bit old fashion german styled which in this case contributes to the atmosphere. Exception is the restaurant which is quite modern and has a good kitchen.

  Nice food, quiet position

  We stayed here for two nights. We booked this based on the food reviews. However on the night we arrived there wasn't any food available. We were directed to a nearby restaurant which was acceptable. The food however at breakfast on both mornings was varied and fresh, it would more than satisfy everyone. The evening meal on the second night was excellent, and it highlighted our regret that the restaurant wasn't open on a Sunday evening. However overall we were happy with our stay and would return.

  Nice hotel with good food and wifi

  Spacious modern rooms with balconies over looking the valley. Plenty of safe parking, and an excellent breakfast. We have stayed before and returned because of the food we had eaten on a previous visit. We were slightly disappointed on the night we stayed but perhaps it was our menu choice. Certainly this is a nice hotel and well worth a visit.

  Lovely experience

  In an attempt to find out of the way places for our one night stops en route to Calais we found Hotel Scheidberg. Located in its own grounds overlooking the valley this hotel was a real find. With a spacious carpark right outside the hotel door for easy movement of luggage. The gentleman on reception was welcoming and helpful, ready for our arrival (maybe they were a little quiet that night?). Our room was large, well equipped and had a generous terrace (too big to be called a balcony). The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Dinner was superb. Everything was freshly cooked and of the highest quality, the prices were reasonable as were the drinks. After an excellent nights sleep, check out was painless and we were on our way again. This was an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

  Good hotel

  I have spent one night ahere being on training. The room was very nice and super clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good. I would appreciate to have a complimentary bottle of water in the room. This is in fact the only negative I can find.
