    Recomendado

Varias cosas.

    Cheap but...

What can you expect for just 15 ringgits? Located at the riverside but no view. Near the town center and some attractions. Dorms were not clean as expected but acceptable. Receptionist was polite and lovely. She helped me with adapter and gave me some advices The only trouble was that toilets. Too small and I had to use the bucket to flush it. Ewwww Free water (hot and cold) So if you want to stay more than a few days with a small budget, hang out all day and just come back in the evening to sleep then Sayang is a reasonable choice

    Cheap but the toilet....

We just need a bed yo sleep 1 nite, so didn't expect much. The room was nice, But the hostel need to improve the toilet, the facility very old and dirty. Moreover, the receptionist didn't pay attention in this hostel, i tried to change another blanket but there wasn't staff there although it was 8 pm.

    Mediocre hostel

The things I like about this hostels are, they have some old bicycles for guests to use freely, the location is very strategic, right behind the hostel there's a river...the design of the room is nice though it is small. The things I don't like: the receptionist isn't friendly, the water in the bathroom doesn't run well...

This Hostel should be the standard of Hostels.

When Malacca can offer us the luxury for money, Sayang Sayang youth hostel offered better than money can get. It's one of the best experience as its my second trip. Cheaper than Malacca Raya Hostels, and very clean, well organized and minimalistic reality in the heart of the city. As a Muslim, I need to around the Masjid, one the oldest Masjid (Masjid Kampung Hulu) just 3 minutes away and Masjid Klin is just 4 Minutes away. Reached here on 30 Ramadan so I have expressed the Malay authentic Breakfast hospitality in the Hulu Masjid, and the Eid prayer made the best impression and great memory. A Chinese temples and Hindu Temple about 6 minutes away. Everything was just within the reach. Rooms are very comfortable and Air conditioning is amazing, Cleanliness of the entire hostel is excellent without zero complaint, Beds are great and seems to very well maintained. Goodnight sleep is one of the best thing has happened to me, compared to last visit of mine (Stayed close to river and it's impossible to sleep at night) planned to say for 2 nights became 4 nights due the hostel location and it's surrounding. Little downside to the hostel was, 1) Upper floor bathroom water pressure little low. 2) Breakfast was written to be free but haven't seen it. 3) Hot drinks seems to be not in the menu though but cold and very hot water dispenser is right at the lobby. In Malacca I would say the best choice is Sayang Sayang youth hostel for single, couple or family without a doubt as the Staff are awesome, they will go for extra mile to satisfy you. The local lady was very helpful with inside of Malaccan history lesson, When Malacca can offer us the luxury for money, Sayang Sayang youth hostel offered better than money can get. The local lady was very helpful with Malaccan history and historical information and other foreign person is very much helpful and he showed me the self cleaning laundry, this all sums up that staffs know what they are doing. It's 100% win for travelers, so don't miss out the best of Malacca's. You have to see it for your self.
