  Nice people

  We stayed here while visiting my son. It was a nice place. The guy at the front desk was very nice and attentive. We did have some issues with the room, but he was very quick to resolve them. He even upgrades us the last night to one of the remodeled rooms which was very nice.

  Short trip

  We Had to get a car so booked here as it was near and cheap no restaurant as advertised though. Nor feebies listed. Desk clerks were uninformed mostly. Would stay again after verifying all anemities. There was some crime in area but we felt safe.

  Hotel stay now includes breakfast

  We had some difficulty finding this hotel. There are many one way entrances and exits to the parking lots for this building but most of the entrances are currently cordoned off due to construction. This does not look like a hotel and most of the floors are actually condominiums. There are a few 15 minute hotel check in parking spots near the entrance. Our hotel room was a queen room with a balcony. The bed was tall, and my wife could barely climb into it. One side of the bed was too firm for me but the other side was comfortable. The bathroom was very small. The bath towels and bed linens were not the plushest but they were adequate. Surprisingly, we were given breakfast coupons for a restaurant that had just opened a day earlier. However, it was very obvious that the new restaurant needs to work out the kinks. We arrived and sat down and no one greeted us for quite some time. Finally, we determined that the cook was making food to serve to us from a buffet serving station. The staff took our coupon and then served us a choice of bacon (regular or turkey), pancakes (that were cold), scrambled eggs, and biscuits. The waitress was not very helpful. Finally, the cook came and explained the process to us. He informed us that the coffee and tea was self serve. They also had oatmeal but we did not see any bowls. The dining room had seating for 10 small groups. The self serve coffee, syrup and ketchup bottles were communal and not COVID-friendly. Lastly, we think you could order eggs made to order (which my wife would have really enjoyed) but that was not offered as an option to us.

  Nice surprise

  We picked this hotel for the great price and we were pleasantly surprised. Part of this High rise hotel are Condos that are privately owned so the place is quite. Good nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing. Freshly made eggs, thick delicious bacon, biscuits and gravy that tasted great. On our 2 week road trip every hotel told us "No Breakfast due to COVID19". Well that's not the case here. They figured out how to safely make and serve a delicious breakfast. Well worth the stay.

  Not a Hotel-Horrible Staff & No COVID PRECAUTIONS

  Stayed October 18, 2020. This was not a hotel, people live at this property full-time including staff and many seniors. When you walk into the foul smelling building it has a senior retirement living magazines and is very old/dirty/dated. The website images must be 20+ years old because they make the rooms and hotel look great. Plus there was ABSOLUTELY NO COVID PRECAUTIONS except for a mask. We never saw any counters, handles, elevator buttons, or doors being wiped down, etc. Even the cart that you check out at front desk was not wiped down after each usage and seniors live here! Restrooms floors in our room were dirty, smoke soot on ceiling of bathroom, balcony had cigarettes burn holes and the staff was horrific. We purchased a 2 night stay from hotels.com and the hotel kicked us out after 1 night stay. We had confirmation of 2 nights but their system did not reflect that so the hotel manager called the room, was extremely rude and kicked us out of the room by cussing us out over the phone. Who does that? We tried to explained there must be a mistake, showed proof of our reservations but they didn't seem to care with their zero customer service policy and to be so offensive with language was not professional nor necessary. Once I got down to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager that so boldly cussed me out on the phone they told me they were "between managers," while smirking at me. I asked for a receipt upon our kickout/checkout and was given a blank statement. Thank you ladies whom worked the morning of October 18, 2020, karma does comes full circle. The unprofessional staff of this hotel caused us to miss our pre-paid, scheduled, non-refundable tour that morning as well as having to find another hotel at the last minute. Do not stay here unless this meets your expectations. The worst experience of our vacation in Colorado Springs. Stay away from Satellite Hotel/Senior Living facility.
