    Excellent value

This hotel is excellent value for money. It is in a great position, a short walk to the beach and a slightly longer walk into the centre of town. Cristina and her staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean. The room was basic but had everything I needed, a comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, a very useful kitchenette, free WiFi and TV. I was fortunate to have a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and away from the noise of the traffic. This is a 2 star hotel and so has limited facilities but I found it perfect for my requirements and would stay there again.

    Very expensive for the service

I stayed 2 nights in the Sarum on business, the room was spacious with tv , tea and coffee making equipment there is a microwave and sink with an amount of cutlery etc. The hotel is self catering but the price of £112.00 per night makes it very expensive

Nice place to stay in St. Helier

I spent one night at this hotel in a calm and large room (2 beds, kitchen, bathroom, balcony). Very good if you stay longer but quite expensive for a night only as we booked a little late. The manager was very pleasant and facilitated our arrival and departure by providing some space for our luggage so that we didn't have to carry them with us all day long. Breakfast was great as well. Too bad we didn't have the opportunity to take a dip because of the rainy weather...

    A lovely hotel, well run

My wife, daughter and I recently spent a weeks stay in the Sarum Hotel, and what a pleasure it was. From the moment we arrived we were incredibly well looked after - being allowed to check in early, upgraded to a larger family room, parking being accommodated in spite of me not arranging it in advance - it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. Cristina was the perfect host throughout. Bright, friendly, cheerful, helpful all without being intrusive or overbearing. The same can be said for all of her staff. The room itself was lovely, bright, clean and spacious although the layout meant it was often hard to negotiate without internal doors getting in yours and each others way! A minor irritation however - everything else was perfect for our requirements. Having the kitchenette was great for those days when we didn't want to venture out for food and just wanted a quiet night in. It's a shame that the lift wasn't working during our visit as this made life a little trickier for my wife but in all fairness I hadn't checked this in advance and I'm sure the lack of lift is much more stressful and hard work for Cristina and her staff than for us! All in all we had a great stay in Jersey, so thank you to Cristina and her team. We'll have to come back soon so that we can have a dip in the pool and experience everything else there is on offer!

Worst hotel Ive ever been too

Absolutely awful Men drinking bottles of vodka on the way in A strong smell Of cigarettes in the whole hotel The rooms are tiny The noise from outside men is ridiculously loud along side them peering in through windows waited 30 minutes for the manager to come down to the lobby to answer our questions only for her to text the lady at the reception and say no refunds Along side the uncomfortable foreign males staring and laughing behind you as you book Through the lobby, last but not least the creepy paintings of stretched horses everywhere, please do not stay here for your own safety and leisure, £77 down the drain
