    A Complete Dump

    This hotel has seen better days. Upon entering the hotel I noticed lights flickering in the chandeliers and an unplugged elliptical and treadmill in the lobby. Pretty strange to say the least. The pool and hot tub didnt have any water in them and dont appear to have been operational anytime recently. The entire pool area looks like a scene from the TV show Life After People complete with large amounts of garbage and used mattresses. Upon entering the room everything seemed ok until I opened the refrigerator and found a take out box with a half eaten burrito inside. I can only imagine how long that has been in there. The room was also very loud and I could hear the nearby highway clear as day. I then noticed that the window in the room was open slightly. When I tried to close the window I noticed several cigarette butts jammed into the window track. The pillows in the room were also very odd and were only as big as throw pillows you might find on a couch. They were anything but comfortable. Thankfully I only had to spend one night at this turd.

    Deceptive Owners, NO POOL

    I was quite upset to not be told on the hotels website that the hot tub and pool are drained and have been all year which I am reading here on other reviews from way before our stay. This is RIDICULOUS !! They do not tell anybody and then at check in, they say oh yeah the pool room is closed for renovations and that's why your rates are so low" !! WHAT ?? We paid $230 for two nights in this subpar hotel with hard beds, horrible coffee, no fresh fruit or donuts in their continental breakfast, just stuff they can take out and thaw, cereal, crappy waffles. I am beyond upset. Then on top of it, the reason we were even getting this hotel was for rafting down the cannon river, and they closed the river due to high water, which should have been done on Friday. NEVER GO TO Cannon Falls and if you do, do NOT stay at the Saratoga Inn.

    SUPER NICE WHIRLPOOL ROOM

    We came down for Valentines Day. Decided to reserve a room for 2 nights. We did not care about pool or hot tub..Our room was beautiful. Had a wonderful comfy king bed and sweet jacuzzi tub. Looks like they are trying to renovate the whole hotel. The staff was very kind..Give them a try if you dont need a pool or hot tub.

    very clean - great staff - CAUTION, pool is closed The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was wonderful and very willing to go above and beyond to make your stay great. The rooms are also recently renovated. The pool and hot tub are under construction and closed. Yet, it's still listed as an "amenity". And yet, the prices online do not reflect any discount for it not being available. I would suggest calling to book, and see if you can negotiate a better rate. The pool being closed was a huge disappointment, as it was one of the reasons our group chose to stay here, yet our booking was non-refundable (through a 3rd party site).

    Clean but no pool, subpar service, no real breakfast

    Did not have our room when we arrived and tried to give us 2 queen instead of a king, when told no they upgraded to a very nice room with whirlpool tub (which we did not use). Was not told where breakfast was or what time. When I asked the next morning I was told up the stairs and when I went up there were no lights on and only a few pieces of bread, a couple yogurts, and some juice. No one was up there. Pool was not open.
