    Wonderful and peaceful

This was a last minute stop on our way back from vacation. The host greeted us as soon as we pull in the driveway. She made us feel welcomed. She gave us just the right information about our dining needs which was the least driving possible! The room and private bathroom are spacious, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. The same goes for the formal sitting area and breakfast. In addition the hosts are warm and have thought of every detail such as access to a refrigerator for guests, very well stocked second refrigerator for drinks, including wine and a nice selection of snacks. We recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the Saratoga Springs area.

The finest Inn and Inn owners!

From the moment of our arrival we were greeted and treated cordially by Mariana ever so welcomingly. She actually gave us a choice of two rooms that were available at the time of our arrival, and we opted for our original choice. Mariana guided us to dinner choices for dinner, both around the corner and some a drive all the way (6 miles) in to the city of Saratoga. Yes, though this bucolic Inn is in a very quiet and peaceful setting of 10 lovely acres, it is within minutes of the city. All the rooms are roomy and delightfully appointed, and given appropriate names, as is the tradition in all the finest B&B's, and this one is among the finest of the fine. The breakfasts are delicious and filling, and Mariana and Rosemary pay careful attention to their guests dietary needs. The grounds are eminently walkable, for there are paths mowed low through the otherwise natural growth of the surrounding fields. In the afternoon there is wine and nibbles available in the parlor, and can be enjoyed on the front porch or two of the side porches. There is everything charmed about this house, the rooms, the parlor the kitchen and dining room, and there are no more charming inn keepers than Rosemary and Mariana. One stay here will become your first, with who knows how many more to follow...

    A Perfect Stay

On the spur of the moment, my husband and I decided to get away overnight for our wedding anniversary. I picked Saratoga Farmstead B and B hastily, almost at random. When we drove in, we could not have been more delighted with the choice. The place--an old, rambling, beautifully maintained farmhouse set well back from the road--is so homey, welcoming full of charm. We parked near the old silo and walked back up the drive. Mariana was right there to greet us as we approached the front door. Our room on the second floor was bright with late-afternoon, fall light from three windows. Wing chairs beckoned from one corner, and the queen bed was supremely comfortable. A couple of chocolates waited on the small desk, and the private bathroom was well appointed. We could see we'd landed at a place lovingly cared for by host/owners who enjoy the innkeeper's life and making guests feel welcome. In the evening, we made the short drive into the center of town for dinner, but we were glad to be able to return to the supreme quiet of the Farmstead afterward. We spent the rest of the evening reading on the sofa in the downstairs parlor. Breakfast the next day, home cooked by Rosemary, was scrumptious: pumpkin-oat pancakes, local crispy bacon, a side of pineapple. We shared a table with a friendly couple who told us they've stayed at the Homestead five times. We could see why, and we look forward to returning there ourselves.

    Gorgeous inn and location!

Down to the tiniest details, the Saratoga Farmstead is a gorgeous inn nestled in acres of gorgeous land. The owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and they know just how much to engage each person to make our stay just right. I will be sure to stay here again next time I travel to this area.

A HUGE reason why Saratoga is my favorite place on Earth!

I could not recommend this B&B enough. Everything from the food, environment, hospitality, easy access to downtown, to the accommodations make this an amazing experience. I left two days ago and I am already planning my return. I've gone here 2 years in a row and I'm already trying to figure out ways I can get back more frequently!
