love everything about this place! An extremely wonderful place to stay in Kuching! Wonderful hospitality, they treat you like family and they are all genuinely friendly and helpful :-) Rooms - very clean and cosy..food, oh, where do I start? everything we ordered were delicious, fresh and just perfect! think I'll ditch staying in hotels and will definitely visit my now 'extended' family home whenever I go to Kuching :-)

Great stay!Something different and especially compared to malaysian standards this place is amazing. Great room with a good bed and matrass. Beautifully decorated. Nice staff. For breakfast they only serve asian food, for me as a european, it's hard to have the garlic flavours so early in the morning. Some toast or eggs would have been nice. Make sure you seperate your laundry when handing it over, but those are the only really small improvements i could think of.

Good and clean stay with friendly peopleWe stayed longed than planned at Sarakraf Pavillion. First we had a really nice and spacious room with hot shower, It was very clean and the airco was working good. After a couple of nights we could move very easy into another room with a shared bathroom. They even moved our bags for us. This room was also spacious and the shared bathroom had a hot shower and was clean. The owner and staff were very helpful and nice. Every day we had a nice chat with Jonnifer. Food and drinks were local and delicious. The staff gave us information when we had questions and called a taxi for us when we needed one. The handcraft everywhere un the building is beautiful, we would definitely stay here again!

Great find in Kuching... Place of characterI recommend. Great place, good food, lovely accommodation.... A place of character and culture... Yet lively and joyfull to be in. The owner Gerald is always ready to share a few good stories. I also enjoyed the interactive demos of various handicraft. The room was spacious and well decorated :-)

Disappoiting DormroomI booked 5 nights in Sarakraf Pavilion. Unfortunately I decided to leave after 1 night. I booked the place trough hotels.com. It promised me to get a dorm bed in an airconditioned room, with Wifi access and free breakfast. The dorm did have airconditioning. But there was no internet available (no wifi but also no access otherwise) there was no option for breakfast. Furthermore the bathroom and toilet facilities were dirty. Also the location was not near the city centre or touristic attractions (this might be a mistake of the booking website, but I find it worth mentioning.) To make things worse, my bed broke in the middle of the night. Although I mentioned all my complaints, no solutions were given. Thats why I want to warn you before booking. I read a lot of positive feedback, maybe this is true for the rooms on top floor, but definitely not for the dorm room and its facilities.
