  Lovely stay - fabulous breakfast, great for gluten-free

  I don't know where to start on this review. Great location, we never needed to take our car, we walked everywhere. Parking is on street but that is no problem in this neighborhood. Fran, Brian and Mary were all very helpful. Whole place is lovely and our room had everything we needed and was charming, bright, spotless and was modern where needed. And the breakfast! Huge spread of fruit, cereal, yogurt, bagels, doughnuts and juice. I thought that was it (I would have been happy) but then Mary came out for see what we would have for the hot breakfast. My husband has celiac disease and the gluten-free French Toast won his heart.

  A well preserved, beautiful building and attentive innkeepers

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming old house in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of shops, harbor and great dining! Lots of photo opportunities. Complimentary baked goods and brandy available. No one walks away from breakfast hungry--so many options and deliciously prepared, we especially enjoyed mimosas! The innkeepers offered great conversations and we loved making new friends at breakfast.

  Great location, walk to Thames Street!

  We got upgraded to a room with an included bathroom. Although there were a lot of stairs, the views were worth it! Just loved the location. Brandy by the fire in the main house with cookies....or enjoy the fireplace in your room. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Would 100% recommend.

  Great stay and lovely inn keeper

  My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the inn. This was my daughters first experience staying at an inn and she had a great time. It turned out we were the only guests because the inn keepers had a private commitment but had not blocked out the date before I booked on line. I was really impressed that they didnt just call me to cancel the reservation instead still welcomed us so warmly. Our room had a great view of the water and the inn is surrounded by lovely historic homes. The chocolate chip cookies when we arrived were delicious and such a nice touch.

  Charming B&B within walking distance to downtown Newport

  It felt more like we were staying at someone's house as opposed to renting a room! Bryant and Fran made us feel right at home in their B&B. Breakfast was simply amazing with a variety of fruits, bagels and hot entrees. Every night, we walked into town to eat at a number of amazing seafood restaurants. Its very nice to not have to move your car and find parking. The room was very nice, and the bed was very comfortable. We plan on returning in the fall during foliage season. We won't be staying anywhere else!!
