Great room and staff!Fantastic room with excellent view over Sapporo. Close to many restuarants, shops and odori park. Staff go out of their way to be helpful despite language differences. The free shuttle bus between hotel and Sapporo JR station was also very convenient.

A nice hotel except one thingMy family and I stayed in this hotel in February 2018 and January 2019. We stayed 4 consecutive nights each time. The room we had was a Deluxe-Twin-Non-Smoking-Room on the Royal Floor (27th floor). The panoramic view is magnificent! Housekeeping and cleaning service is satisfactory. The indoor/outdoor onsen is great. Hotel staffs are polite and helpful. Overall, a nice experience to stay at this hotel. However, there is one unpleasant issue happened during each of our stay. We had made complaints to the hotel staffs regarding this issue, I hope the hotel management will see it and take serious correction action to resolve this issue in the near future. There are two large windows in our room, they were tightly sealed, neither of them can be opened, not even opened with a tiny slit. It is indeed a pity if you want to have some fresh and cold air to come into the room. If you forget to shutter the curtains during a sunny day, the indoor temperature can easily go beyond 30 degree (Celsius) in such a sunny winter noon (even it is below 0 degree outside) because of the sunshine. Even with all curtains shuttered, the indoor room temperature can still reach 25 degree (Celsius). In this hotel, no air-condition (cooling air) provided during winter season, nothing can cool down the room temperature in such condition. When we made the complaints to the hotel regarding this issue, the hotel staffs told us that there is an intake slit underneath the window, cold air from outside can be drawn into the room with the slit opened. But the truth is that the intake slit would only draw indoor air to outside but not vice versa. It does not help to cool down the room temperature at all. The hotel is really nice and clean in all aspects except the above issue. Guests not used to warm/hot environment should avoid this hotel during winter season, especially avoid the rooms that facing south direction, where the sunshine comes from in winter season. I hereby sincerely ask the hotel management consider the resolution to this issue, please provide air-condition (cooling air) during the winter season as well. Thanks!

WonderfulImmaculately clean, comfortable and super professional staff. Not one complaint at this great city centre located hotel. I was there 3 years ago too and it was as excellent then as it was this time. Quiet, modern and fabulous tasting food. It's so easy to walk into the centre as we were already situated there. I would very much recommend this lovely hotel. Once again top marks and keep on the same way. A wonderful panorama bar/ restaurant on the top floor affording beautiful views of the city and surrounding area. A winner!!!!

Super Home Base! The Prince is always my home base when in Sapporo. I usually stay a week or longer on each trip. Centrally located, a few minutes by taxi from Sapporo station, rooms are nice, clean, have nice appointments, and staff is friendly and helpful. Superior rooms are usually on the higher floors with better views, bigger makeup mirrors bigger refrigerators, and bigger beds, however even the standard rooms are very clean and comfortable. An onsen(hot spring bath) with rotemburo(open air bath) keeps bringing me back. Both dinner and breakfast in the Hapuna buffet restaurant is delicious and have excellent food quantity and quality. The omelets made in front of you by the chef are my favorites. Front desk and bell desk employees are very accommodating with requests and questions. This hotel is a great value for your money!
