    semana perfecta.

    Ideal location.

I have been visiting Riccione for a business trip and been recommended this hotel by a friend. Very happy with the choice. Place is clean, breakfast is good, staff very willing to help you. They helped me with a few requirements and seem to go the extra mile.

    Nice hotel for short trip

My wife, baby and I spend 2 nights at this hotel and we were very pleased. The room was very clean, the bathroom aswell and the shower was amazing which is not always the case in Italy. The staff was very helpful and very nice.

Great staff, good price and nice breakfast

My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights, as he was attending the elbow and shoulder surgery Congress, and we were on an average budget. We initially booked for another hotel through Bookings (Nizza Hotel) and when we arrived, we found a sign at the entrance that said they were renovating and would accommodate us in the Sant'Angelo (I admit I was a bit relived, because the Nizza looked a bit scary from the outside). The taxi took us there and the staff at the front desk was super friendly and welcoming (we are still learning italian, but they enjoyed teaching us). The room was not the best I'd seen (I usually prefer chain-hotels, but Riccione has none, and I really wanted to visit Riccione and Rimini, so I decided to go along with my husband's ideas), thankfully it didn't have a carpet, and I just shoved the cushions and cover from the bed in the closet. The bathroom was good and the air conditioned worked perfectly. The TV was a bit awkwardly located, but I didn't stay too much inside. It is SUPER CLOSE to the center of the Town, which is beautiful, super cute, full of blooming flowers, shops, music and restaurants. If you like to walk, you can even get to the historic center of Riccione which is also very beautiful. The beach is also close, and as it is private, it's divided into "mini-clubs" (identified by numbers) and each hotel has it's "own". We paid 13 and it included entrance, chairs and umbrella, clean bathrooms, gym, park for kids, sports and pool. It has a bar too, for which you have to pay what you consume of course. Being from Venezuela, the beach is not the best, but it is beautiful and clean. The breakfast at the hotel is perfect for me that love to eat italian sweets for breakfast (my husband had bit of a harder time, as the eggs and bacon were not as good), so I could chose between 10 types of sweets, all of them great! The staff was super super friendly and helpful, even lending me an iron for my husband's shirt one night. Just across there is a small restaurant (Rugantino) were we watched the Champions League Final, and the food was great, also great service. I would definitely recommend it if you can look past the small things (old hotel). I also recommend if in Riccione, going to Kalamaro Piadinaro (look for my other review in Restaurants).

Fabulous, friendly & very clean hotel only 2 min walk from beach

Firstly, all the staff in this hotel, without exception, were extremely friendly and helpful. There is somebody on reception 24 hours and you are always greeted with a friendly smile. We had an issue with a subsequent booking at a different hotel and, as we don't speak italian, the staff at Sant'Angelo were extremely helpful in trying to help us resolve the issue. The rooms are basic but maintained very clean. It's great to return to your room in the evening to find lovely clean sheets & towels and the whole room left spotless. Another bonus was the free bicycle hire available at the hotel. As the hotel is located only two blocks in from the beach (and fabulous cycle path that goes for miles in each direction), we regularly took the bikes out for a spin. The location is also superb as, not onlyis the hotel only a 2 minute walk to the beach, it is also located near to the end of Viale Dante, a long pedestrianised street that leads right to the centre of Riccione. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from (shops open until 1am) and there is always a great atmosphere along this street.
