  BASTANTE NORMAL

  Es un hotel de playa un poco antiguo. Esta a 7 km de Tropea aunque posee un servicio de bus con horarios determinados. Las habitaciones bastante antiguas, el desayuno buffet muy bueno y variado. La cena, en nuestro caso, que era en un tour por Calabria y Sicilia, era un menu fijo siempre con fideos y pescado. La piscina enorme. Un hotel normal, nada especial.

  Wouldn't recommend

  If you're looking for quiet, this isn't the hotel for you. I realize it's a family resort, however the nightly "entertainment" was goofy and disorganized and went on (loudly) until midnight. The rooms were decent but only if you had a balconey overlooking the sea because rooms overlooking the pool (like mine) were subjected to loud music and crying kids. The food was so-so...kind of bland. There were extra costs for beach towels, beach lounge chairs and room safes. The shuttle bus schedule was inconvenient with extra charges for pick up after 11pm. All in all I would stay elsewhere if I return to Tropea.

  good stay

  Stayed as a couple to explore Calibria,but there were many families here having a beach/hotels large swimming pool and animation team to enjoy.The hotel ran free shuttles to the beach throughout the day with a late evening shuttle at a small charge! The room we had was 421 and it had a balcony as do lots of rooms here.Ours was near a railway line which was no problem because it was shielded by trees.The shop on site catered for other needs.The pool bar staff were excellent as were the restaurant staff.Had a great time here thanks to all.

  What a surprise!

  We were here last year June, and our expectations were low, but it turned out what a great hotel it is. We got a beautiful room with a huge terrace with a seaview, which was wow! The only thing that wasn't good, that the shower was tiny and there wasn't much water coming out. Breakfast was great and in the evening you got served a delicate menu which was always different. Transportation to Tropea also existed. I can only recommend this hotel.

  give it a miss

  we already had stayed in the Elba San Jorge and thought we would try another Elba. Big mistake. The room was lovely and very clean with a little kitchen included but as we were all inclusive we didnt use it. The staff were nice but very much overworked with only one on in the bar although they worked hard. The meals were not great but you can fill up on bread but not on wine. we asked for wine and they went through the back of restaurant and brought out 2 small wines then never came to ask if we wanted any more. We then saw other guests with large glasses and realised they were half boards and because they were paying they got more do they forget I had already paid more going all inclusive. When there was a show on in the large hall you had no option but to go if you wanted a drink as other bar is closed and the same with the disco bar place you go down ear;u as seating is limited but have to go back upstairs for a drink as this bar wont open till 9.30. Last but not least the bar closes at 11pm and the lights go out at 11.10 and your drink is taken away so they are more or less telling you go to bed. Nothing round the area and best give it a miss.
