Great hotel! This is a true special place. The view from the terrace is simply stunning. Breakfast is great and the restaurant In Se Natura has one of the best shrimp tartare in the planet. Marta at the reception, Raffaele at the bar, Marco in the kitchen, Aurelio and the entire staff are nice, extremely efficient and incredibly available. They made our stay unique. I really enjoyed the Santa Isabel and I am looking forward to coming back

Lovely simple island vibesTotally loved this place! Our room had an incredible view over the ocean and was decorated in a rustic and simple style - perhaps not to everyones taste but personally I much prefer this to a stuffy traditional hotel style. The view from breakfast was one of the most stunning I have ever experienced - while the waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious (admittedly we didnt eat dinner here as we felt it would be wasted on our fussy toddlers) but there are plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from in Malfa, just a short and picturesque stroll up the narrow alleys from the hotel. The sunset aperitifs is also not to be missed. We loved the gorgeous beach just a steep 5 mins walk - yes its pebbly/rocky and a pair of rock shoes are recommended (also readily available in Malfa for just 6 euro) but sand is a bit of a pain anyway and who cares when the view is this good and the sea is this clear? We loved snorkeling and the cafe serves simple food and drinks enough to make leaving the beach unnecessary. Our only slightly concern was the room we had was on two levels and the stairs were not ideal for our headstrong two year old - quite steep and with an open side that meant we couldnt totally relax ... something perhaps the hotel should have flagged when we were booking. All in all we loved this place though and would love to come back.

The most beautiful terrace on Salina! We booked the Santa Isabel "sight unseen", based on the internet pictures and the description of the friendly staff. We were not disappointed! The location is perfect, the rooms was perfect for a family of 4, the staff very nice and friendly. The highlight: a superbe terrace overlooking the incredible waters of Salina. When we arrived it was dark and from our table at dinner we saw the red glow of the lava flowing from the Stromboli. But the sunset aperitif was the best!

Simply the best!!Simply the best choice we could ever make to spend few days in beautiful Salina! The hotel is located directly on the cliff overlooking the astonishgly beautiful Punta Scario; you can enjoy the panoramic view while having breakfast or while sipping a cocktail on the hotel's terrace watching the magic of Salina's sunsets. Rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious, and we had two windows overlooking the sea and the garden. What really amezed us was the cordiality and the kindness of the receptionists Martina and Francesca! They really pleased all our requests being as helpful as they could. Food was amazing! We ate at the hotel's restaurant "In Sè Natura", and we really enjoyed the sicilian tastes and flavours of their plates! I strongly recommend Santa Isabel hotel to those who want to experience nature, relax and sicilian delicious food!

Mezmerizing views, amazing staff and Raffaele!Salina (Malfa village) Hotel Santa Isabel We decided to visit one of the Aeonian islands of Sicily and choose Salina based on a recommendation from friends. Salina is a beautiful green sleepy little island that has a main port where during the day its quite active and Malfa town on the other side of the island (app. 20 minutes by car) where it is quite lively at night. Our hotel Santa Isabel is right on a cliff and offers the best sunsets on the island and is well patronised during the sunsets every day. The best feature of the hotel is the large dinning area that leads out onto this expansive balcony overlooking the ocean and puts you in the perfect spot for sunsets, which are simply breathtaking. Making these night memorable is Raffaele who is the cocktail bartended extraordinaire, he is the maître de and the life of the party every day and evening. Raffaele is well supported by a great team (inc. Orellio) and the chef who produces beautiful lunches and dinners every day. The front desk staff cannot do enough for you and everyone has a big smile when they greet you. When we return to Salina we will definitely stay at Santa Isabel again. A few reviews mentioned the noise but if you are accustomed to city noise it won't really bother you, the hotel is right on the point and the road also narrows down to one lane, as a result locals stop, chat and look at the water which generates city noise, but as this is a quiet island it seems much louder. We didnt really notice as we live in the heart of a city, our room was on the ground floor and our balcony basically abutted the road. The rooms are very clean and have been renovated recently, they are more typical of the Greek renovations than Italy, very minimalistic and our room was quite large, particularly for Italy. This is a beautiful Hotel and worth consideration if you want to soak up the island atmosphere and all it has to offer.
