  Just perfection

  5 mins from the airport, met by the very wonderful Natasha and made to feel as if we were old friends. Free welcome drink at the bar and soon felt at home. The apartments are modern and very clean. Unusually for Greek apartments, soaps body wash etc provided, even fairy liquid, sponge and tea towel. Boyana is the happiest and sweetest cleaner I have ever met and does an excellent job of keeping the accommodation spotless. The grounds and pool are equally fantastic, beautiful plants and flowers surround the very clean pool. Its family run and they certainly make you feel part of the family. The beach is very close by, did not try it out as we were a little unlucky with the weather. Svoronata is very quiet the only nightlife are the tavernas but that makes the experience very authentic. Big big bonus for us was being at the end of the runway, the noise is exhilarating, well for us it was, only lasts about 10secs and only a few flights per day.   Amazing

  From the minute we arrived we realised what a little gem Sandy beach is. Natasha and Mario are fantastic and welcomed us warmly . The apartment was fab and spotlessly cleaned every day. Natasha puts a great breakfast every day with eggs from their chickens and fruit from their trees we were very spoiled. BBQ was fantastic and great value for money and Marios own wine is brilliant. The pool and gardens are immaculate and seeing the planes is an extra buzz. Again we can't recommend Sandy Beach enough we had a great stay We can't wait to return x

  What a surprise

  The owners Mario and Natassa are the perfect host has they can't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible from they moment you arrive to the when you leave.Their family all help out from maintaining the grounds to serving at the pool bar. Elini serves your drinks to your sunbed. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which is the largest we have experienced in Greece.The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make meals or snacks.The windows and patio doors all have screens which means you can have the window / door open without insects getting in. We had a outdoor sitting area both at the front and back which meant you could be in or out of the sun if you wanted. The bathroom was an OK size and the shower was enclosed which meant you didn't flood the floor. There was always sunbeds available and most times we were the only people in the pool although it could be busier in the peak times. The sandy Ammes beach is only a short walk. Svoronata position is ideal for touring around the island being central to other areas. I would recommend a car or scooter to get around the island and there is also a regular bus service to Lassi and the capital Argostoli. There is one thing to point out in that it is close to the end of the runway and while landings are entertaining take-offs can be quite loud. There are no night flights and the airport at present is not that busy. Overall we both love the apartments and are looking forward to going back next year.

  Family holiday

  We had a fantastic stay at Sandy Beach The apartment was spacious and clean and the staff were all very friendly, It has a decent sized pool and enough sunbeds to cope with the number of guests It is very close to the airport which is a bonus and very close, a two minute walk to a very nice sandy beach We hired a car for three days and it is a gorgeous island to explore. I would highly recommend this place.

  Wot a treat

  You wont go wrong staying here the family are very friendly the rooms are cleaned daily and the beds are very comfy and the views are outstanding the planes are a delight to watch and there is enough around from the gorgeous ammes beach to the restaurants are favourite restaurant was o milo will definitely be back
