  Good place for fun and underwater photography

  Very good food everyday, very nice staff and services, beautiful view... and the most important is here is really a good place for swimming with whale and snorkeling at coral reef. They have four boat for whale swimming and one bigger boat for diving, all the staff on boat are professional and experienced, so all these boat could cooperate to find whale and make sure everyone has enough time swimming with whales and take photos. Just swimming from beach for 30 second, there are many very good coral reef with healthy corals, so basicly you could go snorkeling any time.

  An amazing beach retreat!

  My boyfriend and I stayed at Sandy Beach for just over a week in April 2019 and it was amazing! Ruth and Duncan were fantastic hosts and all the staff made our stay there super special. The food is amazing! Fresh seafood everyday and yummy cocktails in coconuts! The water is crystal clear which makes for incredible snorkeling experiences. We took the bikes for a ride into the closest town (about an hour one way) where we stocked up on some snacks and beer. They have kayaks available so definitely get out on those for a little adventure. We stayed over Easter so took a walk up to the local church on Easter Sunday - the singing was next level! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week chilling and relaxing. Would 100% recommend staying here. We are already thinking about going back!

  Lovely Location

  My husband and I recently stayed here for 8 nights as part of our trip with "Majestic Whale Encounters". The accommodation is good, clean and comfy, but not 5 star. However, it's what we expected. So we were happy. No complaints. The bed was comfortable and we liked sleeping with the curtains open each night to hear the ocean. There was plenty of hot water, which was good after being out on the water all day. It is all about location, location, location! The rooms are located right on the waters edge and the beach is glorious. It is a lovely small, intimate resort. We found the food good. A good varied selection at breakfast and dinner was a choice of two entrees, three mains and house dessert. And there were also options for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. I know that Wi-Fi can be an important thing for some people and we found it fine. The staff we interacted with were all good. Polite and friendly. Overall, we really liked the property and don't have anything to complain about. But we are well travelled and are easy pleased. Would I recommend the property? Absolutely.   Tongan Treasure

  What a beautiful, serene paradise. Thoroughly enjoyed slowing down - flowing in Tongan time. It is fantastic that the beach is at your doorstep for swimming in crystal clear waters. Wonderful warm friendly staff ensured we were well looked after. Snorkelling was really enjoyable and the brilliant starry nights blew us away. A natural wonderland to reconnect to what's really important in life and just BE!

  The Best Ever

  Beautiful location, Fala (hut) on the beach, walk out the door swimming and snorkeling, surrounded by healthy coral reef, awesome food! New owners Darren and Nina and family kind, warm, and gracious. If you are looking for the peace, beauty, and restoration that the South Pacific can give you then you have found it. They also offer many of the activities that larger resorts do (scuba diving, kayaking, deep sea fishing, etc) without the built up, rush, and commercialism that they do. This is the first place we have ever visited that we've both committed to returning. And near the top of our list. Thank you Darren and Nina! And Adam and Harriet.
